There's been a lot of custom Siege Seekers posted, all of which look great, and now it's time to add my take on them! I've been working on these off and on since the Rainmakers came out (so, what, August?) and I finally finished them up this past weekend. I don't work fast, and sometimes have a hard time staying on task, but I eventually got them done I got a new camera that I'm still trying to break in, so sorry if some of the pics are a bit blurry. I started with the Rainmakers, just adding some color to break up their solid color schemes. Paints were all done by hand, using various Vallejo paints (mainly Game Air and Mecha Color paints). I considered doing a complete repaint on Nova Storm, going for the black/gold color scheme, but decided to keep it simple to stay inline with the other two. Acid Storm Ion Storm Nova Storm With the Rainmakers complete, I decided to tackle the Welcoming Committee. Can't have too many Seekers, and having an army for Starscream sounded like a fun idea These were all repaints of Starscream. Main colors were all done in Rust-oleum Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Paint+Primer (I think it needs a longer name), with minor details done in Vallejo paints. Hasbro's Hotlink was announced right when I started working on mine, so I gave him a pair of Battlemasters I pieced together from the remnants of customs I did ( I may post those later). He also got Thundercracker's head, which I had transplanted onto Starscream, but then replaced with the Earthrise mold. Can't let a good head go to waste! Sunstorm Hotlink Bitstream Nacelle Overall, I think they turned out pretty good. I think paint masking was the hardest part of this project for me, but I got a little better on each successive figure, with Nacelle coming out with really solid lines at the end. Bro! This looks awesome!! I didn't bother with the siege seekers because they looked very unappealing to me. But then I got Hot Link for Christmas and I fell in love. I'm late to the game, but I gatta catch 'em all now.
Absolutely beautiful! I like how neon the rainmakers are, dunno if i would want to paint mine up at all, but I absolutely DO understand wanting just, ALL THE SEEKERS
