God its annoying when target says it has two available but then you go buy it and then they say its not available till the 28th. Like how come you guys didn\'t tell me that yesterday and i had to waste the time to go to another city to try abd get it
The question in my mind is: why are they putting out product that cannot be sold? What purpose does this serve except to piss off customers?
Remember when Starscream was first released and everyone bashed him for the chestplate and kibble? I don't think I've ever seen a mold go from so hated to so desired this quickly.
because the boxes dont say street dated 99% of the time. Some stores do resets early, with the reset officially being "scheduled" for 7/28. The employees put out whatever is on the pallet and sometimes its impossible to see its SD without ringing it up.
This makes sense, but it also makes sense to scan each item to verify it scans correctly before stocking it, which would also reveal the street date. A customer should never make it to the register only to be told they can't buy the item they picked up off the sales floor. A little bit of quality and care for a job well done isn't too much to ask. But maybe these days, it is.
Honestly 99.9% of the time scanning a thing like that just tells you exactly where you knew it belonged, so they wont do that for the .1% of the time. It sucks, but its not fair to blame employees. These trucks they get have thousands of items on them and stores get trucks every single day. A small number of people put that stuff out. It just happens and they only SD things if hasbro tells them to.
Looks like it's two sets to a case. They have fixed chest plates too!
gonna throw this out there again, anyone wants to pick me up a set ill pay you a little extra for your time and shipping of course
I had to drive an hour for my set lol a little too far to go back.
By the way . Has this set even been actually confirmed by Hasbro yet? Or has this reached retail without an announcement from Hasbro?
no announcement yet
In fact, didn’t it show up at retail the day after it leaked?
Does the “you break it, you buy it” rule apply here?
I'm thinking the plan was to announce at SDCC and then say on shelves now or something like that. We just happened to find them early
about a week and a half after the first leak, a day after pictures. initial leak was 2 weeks ago on friday
its supposed to be a reset item, targets next reset is the 28th
All it takes is the system being set up incorrectly and now the people stocking shelves don't catch the error.
