Well just when I think TC and Skywarp will end my obsession with the seeker mold, they do this. Will get.

I wish someone would have made a thread about this to make it easier to find.

Nightbird from Chromia is definitely a downgrade from her previous figure. The Siege Chromia mould is not that bad but not that great either and come on, we all know that a new Arcee figure is going to happen in this trilogy so I wish they would have waited for that to create a Nightbird.

Speaking of which, I hope they release a new Windblade already (Because at this point you can always expect a new Windblade toy before Arcee, funny how that sounds) and make a new Slipstream from it.

Wow, I don't collect the CHUG-scale figures anymore, but I am totally getting this, been waiting for it for 35 years. I remember watching this episode when it originally aired and I was convinced there were actually toys of these guys and was harassing my mom to take me to different stores to see if they were out.

They didnt because the guy was reluctant to even share the list, more or less take credit for it, so he asked to keep everything as hidden as possible.

Beautiful, hunky and sexy pieces of plastic. Quite delicious if I do say so myself. They look like a box of crayons!

At 31 (if I recall correctly), that'd be nearly impossible. So many of that mold exist because Hasbro USA, Fun Pub, TakaraTomy, and Hasbro Asia all did different versions of them.

It's possible that they might beat them for different characters, as they've done 3 characters not done previously (Redwing, Ion Storm, Nova Storm). But even then that might not be likely with characters like Bitstream, Hotlink, Sunstorm, Nacelle, G2 and SG iterations of characters.

Looks neat but three $30 toys at once is going to price out 99% of the market.

I’d be thrilled if they at least got all of the individual characters. That’d mean the Coneheads, Welcoming Committee, Nacelle, Slipstream, and Sandstorm.

    Completely baseless theory time:

I'm fairly convinced that we could get the welcoming committee out of this version of the mold but won't get the coneheads until AFTER they've retooled it to have an Earth alt-mode (which would be very easy to do considering the nature of the figure). I feel like we could also get the first three episode arch's Earth-based seekers (like Air Warrior) from that retool as well.

I like that idea since it would stay accurate to the cartoon, since there were Seekers we only saw on Cybertron as tetrajets and others we only saw on Earth with the F-15 altmode. You can always then use the Cybertronian versions of the main three as more generic seekers by sticking them towards the back of your shelf.

I know I wouldn't mind having a mixed seeker collection.

    Posted earlier in the thread:

Sounds like it may be a Target exclusive, or a regular retail release? Either way, that's better than a convention exclusive.
