Not gonna lie, this is easily the best G1 voyager Optimus we've ever gotten and it looks like I'm might be coming out of retirement because this new line is simply too good to pass up. I didn't, I just painted over it. Didn't wanna risk damaging the plastic since I wasn't sure exactly what to use in order to get rid of the excessive battle damage.

Very nice job. Looks so much better without the battle damage. But I do agree with you. I was going to completely pass on this line as every picture I saw was meh, but I picked up Megatron for about $16 on Hasbro a while back and was so impressed on the look-in-hand and the engineering, I got the rest. Optimus alone feels like a smaller masterpiece version.
