Just wondered out of the five figures included (Magnus Prime, Tidal Wave, Metalhawk, Pounce & Thunderwing) in the box set. Which will you be keeping? Which will you be selling? What's the one figure that is the sole reason you are purchasing/passing on the set? How do you feel overall about the set being exclusive to BigBadToyStore - Transformers Wiki ? How do you feel about the inbetween size class for the Clones? Could you see other characters fit in at this size class?

Tidal Wave

 

I'm keeping them all. I was on the fence about Super Ginrai because of price, but Magnus Prime solves that. That Tidal Wave deco was the one I wanted. The rest are decent to great.

No worries about being exclusive (I shop at BBTS a ton, anyway), but even then, I'm fine w/exclusives anywhere as long as shipping is fair and I can find it online.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the 'scout' size for the clones - I really love the fact that they're branching into non-standard sizes for boxsets. Not sure about which other "scout" size figures would work (Reflector, perhaps; maybe the Powerdashers), but the mixed size class thing could allow them to do something between deluxe and voyager for the Duocons or add in some other frills here and there (better weapons)

 

Tidal Wave is one I'm completely indifferent to, but my wife liked how he looked in the pictures of Toy Fair, so it may get gifted into her collection.

Metalhawk is the one that caught me completely by surprise and I'm surprisingly interested in.

 

The only one I might ditch would be Metalhawk. I'm surprised Pounce isn't getting a retail release. If the other clone is getting released in a boxset as well those two are going to be really expensive to get a hold of.

 

This is the set Im really looking forward to. I'm planning on keeping most of the set. The only one I don't really care for is TM Thunderwing.

Im hoping for a smaller box set with a Hasbro release of Godbomber and the other clones Cloudraker and Wingspan.

 

Keeping them all, though I have no real ties to Tidal Wave and the Optimus is redundant for me (have both the Hasbro and Takara versions already). Would love it if the next set has the trailer to go with Optimus as I wouldn't mind a full set displayed in vehicle mode (didn't realize just how big the back half was until I saw the wonderfest display for some reason). Metalhawk and Pounce are musts for me, and the extra head comes under who really cares. For me this is the lesser of the two sets though.

 

I'm beginning to think a marketplace thread for these box sets is in order. I've already had some PM discussions about splitting up these sets, and it seems there's a lot of people that only want certain bots. Granted, we still have to wait on more information to proceed fully.

 

Magnus Prime and Pounce, for me. I'm hoping I can find people who will buy the rest of the set seeing as I have ZERO use for them.

 

Irks me that the one I want is an online exclusive, but I'd consider selling Metalhawk.

 

I'm keeping every figure in both sets but I look forward to Ginrai, Metalhawk, and Pounce more then Thunderwing's Head & Tidal Wave.

 

The other set was 40/60 to me, but I like all the figures in this set. Too bad this one is the online exclusive.

 

I'm willing to sell off the whole set minus Pounce, if anyone's interested.

 

I know you can select multiple choices, but there needs to be an "All of Them" option. Otherwise you won't be able to tell if people are just going to keep the whole set, like me.

 

Keeping them all. I actually like all the molds in this set. I'm super sold on the Broadside mold so I'm down for Tidal Wave, and the Trigger Happy mold is one of my favorite all time TR deluxes. Super Ginrai for sure is the big appeal here.

 

If I get it, I'll keep them all, but I'm not sure I'll get the set because it is very Autobot heavy and I almost exclusively collect Decepticons. The figure I want most out of it is Pounce, so I may just wait for the potential Takara Pounce. I think my decision on the set will come down to whether or not Hasbro also releases Godbomber in another set, but I just don't know if it's that high in my priorities what with a backlog of CW, third party, and other TR figures that I still want to pick up.

Tidal Wave is the only one I'm not super thrilled with, but I don't plan on buying Broadside so I guess he'll stay.
