Go read TXTProtector's post, where the question was asked about two future sets. If I was under the incorrect assumption that there were going to be future sets, then I clearly wasn't alone. Is it the end of the world for me? No. I'll live without them and go one with my life. We're discussing toys here at the end of the day, buddy. It's not that serious.

It is possible. There have been occasional sets which pop up when someone cancels an order. It is possible someone may cancel an order before shipping.

 

Because there's no argument here. You're trying to create one in order to make yourself look good for whatever reason. I've already stated my reasons for disliking these sets, and I see little reason to continue wasting my time arguing with an immature, confrontational troll such as yourself.

Obviously "BotCon 2017 box set" doesn't count - completely different circumstances. There never was a 2017 BotCon box set to be cancelled, because Hasbro ended the license for BotCon to continue in 2016. Had they not done that, there would be a BotCon box set. You can't "cancel" something than never existed, that would've been from an entity that no longer exists....

 

Hopefully they get more in. I found a Metalhawk from a friend in Canada, but I'd love the whole box set at some point. How did this become such a limited edition anyway?

The ones on display were one of a kind samples to represent what could have been. The figures were never mass produced for a Botcon. And even if they were, the number of Botcon pieces isn't enough to be sold worldwide at retail.

 

I'm not sure what part of "never existed" you do not understand? Those were nothing more than ideas for what the Club might do in 2017, had their license continued. Anything that would've appeared as part of that, would've done so because Hasbro is not interested in doing them. However, since that licensed 3rd Party no longer exists, the potential ideas for doing this set are scrapped. It wasn't "cancelled" because it did not actually exist.

 

Yeah, what gives? I had to pay a separate $4 shipping fee before sending my boxed set? That only applies to PoL I guess, I liked BBTS's older system, pay the price of something and different shipping costs would be included on your order after it was selected.

 

Just for the hell of it. Doesn't the Pounce and Wingspan two-pack count as a box set? I mean, they come as a set and the package is a box.

 

I got that one, have this box on the way, AND have the friggin EX version on pre-order. It sucks! But dem Headmaster Jr.s!
