they say an image is worth a thousand words. Let these say stuff about nemesis who is just like siege optimus without the axe but with a sword despite what the instructions say.

It would've been nice if they had given him an alternate, more aggressive head sculpt the way that PotP Nemesis Prime was different from the regular PotP evolutions Optimus. As much as I loves me some Nemesis Prime figures, by around the time I bought my 8th version of the Siege Seeker mold I started to question just how much money I wanted to commit to purchasing endless repaints and "just a little different" versions of the same characters every single year. That's a shame too, because the Siege Optimus design is already a bit more angular and aggressive looking than the norm, giving off a vibe that reminds me of Action Master Optimus Prime's portrayal in the Marvel Comics and it would've lent itself well to a more predatory looking evil alternate version.

That sword is badass though. I still wish they figured out a way for figures to handle oversized weapons with two hands though.

 

"Needs" is a funny word, especially when it comes to toys.

 

Agreed, but since they already did 2 different versions of Prime, a black repaint is inevitable.

 

Ramblings:
This possibly undead repaint of voyager Optimus Prime is every bit as amazing as the original figure, but the deco really brings out the evil in a formerly heroic sculpt. Red eyes glow out of the black helmet of a once-great leader. A deadly combination of jet black, blood red, and sickly teal replaces Prime's patriotic red, white, and blue. Instead of an axe, he wields a rose-pink sword.

My only real complaint with this figure is that it can't really kneel. I dinged the original for having stress marks on the abs, but so far my copy doesn't have them. I also think it's funny that the windows on the side are both red and teal for some reason, but it doesn't effect the bot mode, which is the mode he'll be in most of the time.
The Good: Deco! Sculpt, articulation, balance, build
Nitpicks: The windows, he can't kneel very well
The Bad: Nothing, really.
Mode Ranking: 1. Bot 2. Vehicle
Transformation Difficulty: 5/10. Average.
Grade: I grade my figure out of 100, and take points off for things I don't like.

I knew I recognised that sword. It’s Titans Return Alpha Trion’s in a different colour

 

Indeed   called the ancient sword now instead of...I think it was just called Sword for Lion Trion

 

I'm sure its coming soon. I'll just wait on the KO because I refuse to pay 100+ for this figure. It looks good, don't get me wrong, but I'm still salty Robot Kingdom randomly cancelled my preorder

I mentioned it in the News thread, but you can find him on eBay now from (I'm assuming) Hong Kong for $71 or so. The coupon All4Ten knocked off 10% last night, too. Certainly less than the BBTS prices.
