    Hey everyone!
I did this repaint a couple months ago, never got around to taking any pics. It's not anything major, just going over some areas. Only posting robot mode pics, the figure has some gap fillers(provided by forum member 4TonMantis) that would need removal for tank mode, and I was just too lazy to take them out lol.

So the first thing i did was remove the Hasbro battle damage, which was done a long time ago, had i known I was going to custom paint him i would have painted over the paint apps on the legs instead of removing it. Anyway, I went with a combo of the animation and toy look, always liked the red on the inside of the lower legs.

Finished painting the areas around the bicep and "rib cage" in red (wrapping around to the lower back)

as well as on the shoulders

I forget the name of his sword, but that was painted in silver

And to complete the G1 look, I gave him the gun barrel on the back, borrowed from Soundwave's accessories.

And that's about it. The gray on the shins isnt a color match for the gray plastic but (IMO) doesnt look too bad either. Not sure what else I could do to him, maybe paint the heels, or the black gap filler on the lower inner leg. Or if I feel brave maybe repaint the gray plastic in silver, although if I get the Netflix version i would save on that step.
Anyway, let me know what you guys think. Thanks for looking.

Nice! I've been wondering what to do with Soundwave's crappy 2nd gun...

Dig the red; may have to do that myself eventually.

I used Soundwave's second gun as a staff, with the Lionizer that came with Greenlight, and basically made it a sort-of pike for Orthia.

That red really pops on the legs. I actually like the black bits in there to break it up.

Pretty sure that was the intent of it being made in the first place , but no idea why it came with Soundwave & not Megatron

Personally, I use the second gun as a shoulder extension prop to allow Laserbeak to float over his shoulder.
