    Cybertron Optimus was my favorite toy as a kid. Period. So while all the evidence I’ve seen on the news boards lead me to believe this is legit, I don’t wanna get my hopes up only to have them crushed... Still a little sore from the last time...

    Looks great, really looking forward to this. I wonder if the truck mode will be another curve ball homage like Magnus.

    Now we know this is coming and that Hasbro can basically make any number of armour gimmick primes from this mould I really hope we can get a Nova Prime retool in the next year of War for Cybertron.

    Looks like my theory is right. I was expecting to see a tribute of Cybertron Optimus Prime, it is pretty natural with the essence of Siege line.

    Leader Cybertron Optimus Prime is one of my best figures, of course this version can not be compared with him but it is not fair to make a comparison like that. It is good to see this homenage and have a couple of Leader Cybertron Optimus Prime.

    Siege is the Neo Classics line, no doubt.

    I have to respectfully disagree. The original one was almost a work of perfection. I do enjoy the Ultra Magnus mold and find the Siege line to be outstanding, but the Cybertron Optimus Prime mold is downright amazing.

    I do look forward to seeing what this update brings to the table, most notably improved articulation, and will happily add it to the shelf but the original will never be de-throned in the looks, presence and quality categories.

    I know cybertron Optimus had yellow on his head but a pity they didn't leave it out here. Not a fan of yellow on Optimus' head.

    I dunno man. Like the trailer and full cab looks great but the combined mode just looks kinda disproportionate and lame. I dunno what happened. He looked really cool in the other images. But other reviews he was just ehh. Also the inner robot, I don’t like the truck mode and how empty it is. Feels undercooked.
    Yeah but we don’t know what the truck mode looks like with the new cab front. I dunno. I just hope there isn’t an ugly gap in between the legs and torso in truck mode.

    Yeah that’s what I though.
    Sorry. I mean the cab itself. The big gap between th front and the legs/back wheels. It’s unsightly to me. Also those fists that just sit there. I hate that cab in general. If that was reworked I may like the figure a lot more.
