I missed out on his original version, so I’m definitely picking this up.

This guy though, it\'s not fair to any involved for this guy to get these exclusives this early.  Voyager Prime is still hitting the shelves.

While I\'m excited to see the reveals.  I lament the damage he\'s doing.

Now let's see Armada Megatron from the Siege voyager to pair up with a Weaponizer Tidal Wave

I hope this means the second part of the trilogy will be based on the Unicron Trilogy, I'm gonna be really disappointed if they just repaint one or two g1 esq figures for each part of the trilogy

What the actual hell are you talking about? This figure is not a "Optimus that doesn't fit", it's a Optimus with a robot mode that has the exact same height as the old one, except it focuses on a combination gimmick with it's trailer instead of being a standalone and complete figure on it's own.

That is only a "confusing mess!!!" if you're some kind of android that can't read context properly. Nobody is forced to buy both the leader and the voyager toy, nobody that bought the first Optimus will feel like they were a sucker because of a completely different toy that does different things.

Oh I am so FUCKING GLAD I didn't pick Voyager OP when I saw it in store. It looks great don't get me wrong, but UT was my childhood.

I have Armada and Energon OP, but missed out on Cybertron. This will finally complete the set.

Comparing it with magnus, it is horribly mistransformed.

Huh, interesting. The Cybertron franchise was the current Transformers series when I became a fan back in 2006 (that was right before Classics hit, and then the movieverse a year later). I never watched any of it, but my first Transformers toy (not counting a cheap McDonalds toy) was actually a Cybertron figure. It's interesting that the nostalgia cycle for Cybertron is already stating to hit. It makes me feel old, lol.

If something from 13 years ago is making you feel old, how do you think us ancient fans feel with our cartoon celebrating its 35th anniversary?

What I find interesting is that the most likely way they're going to have this Optimus go from the artwork design of the inner Optimus to the powered-up Optimus is by having a lot of faux kibble armor pieces. Nice to see them give the Unicron Trilogy some love, but I would have rather seen an updated Demolishor, Cyclonus, or Snowcat first. This line was practically MADE for Unicron Trilogy characters.

Ugh, that is crap.  The toys from the Trilogy were enough and honestly did the figures justice back then as the show models were basically the toy models.  Can\'t we get some more Cybertronian designs?  I\'d kill for a War Within Wheeljack!

I'm hoping and praying that Hasbro has thought ahead and anticipated fans desire, hopefully they have in the works a Voyager weaponizer Leobreaker and Sonic Bomber / Wing Saber to work with the new Leader OP, of course in addition to WFC p2 or p3 Leader Star Saber and Leader Victory Leo. monsterprime.jpg
