I\'m glad to see that they are doing re-issue of these bigger figures. I was fortunate enough to grab both Jetfore and Skylynx the first time round. Like many others I feel a re/issue of the titans SPECIFICALLY Omega Supreme AND POTP Predaking, as I feel their availability was not as prominent as the others. IMO; Trypticon and Skorponok were abundantly available with huge sales prices on them (my Trypticon I believe I obtained for about $80)
Hot damn. Patience pays off in this case and ordered! Now if they will do another run of Predaking’s…
And now Sky-Lynx. Awesome choice. The platform mode feels so right with the shuttle, perfect way to make up the lost of 80's robot walking.
I absolutely love my Sky Lynx. So glad others are getting the chance to add him to their collections.
The one shame is the insistence on it being bigger figures (or well, if the Siege Optimus rumor is true, at least bigger names). If there's a single toy off the top of my head that needs a reissue to beat the scalpers from the last 5 years, Siege Greenlight is top of the list. Her eBay prices running at $300-400 for a toy that's otherwise not very good and whose only value is as an Amazon exclusive that completes a set made primarily up of the same mold is an absurdism. Genuinely worse than FunPub aftermarket prices.
Shhhhh! Don’t call them “scalpers” lest people flock to correct you and give you the TFWiktionary definition of the term and chide you for not using it correctly. Just call them “profiteers” and avoid the headache.
I have Skylynx so I'm good. I just relish any opportunity to tell scalpers and price gouges to go fuck themselves. I gotta say though I do hope we get another shot at Omega Supreme. That'd be great.
Didn't they reissue Omega once already? I hope that doesn't preclude it from another go. I think they've also reissued CW Devastator at some point.
Yea I forgot when though. Either way they should do it again. The C situation really hampered a lot of collectors amongst other things
god, imagine the chances of reissuing shockwave, cus he goes for tons on ebay and he's one of the more important ones, even though he's only leader class
While it\'s nice that ER Skylynx is getting a 3rd release (same with Siege Jetfire), I think fans need to not build themselves up when it comes to re releases. Hasbro takes a gamble each time, having to have a MOQ (minimum order quantity) to meet in order to justify a new run. Granted, I believe they have made wise choices thus far. As for Titans; Devastator, Omega Supreme, and Scorponok have had second releaees already. Generations Metroplex and TR Fort Max had 2nd releases via TT in Japan. If you are new fan that just started collecting in the last 2 years, please dont expect every Prime Wars or WfC toy to get reissued. I can think of dozens of others as well. TR Deluxe Wave 5, ER Deluxe Wave 3 that had very limited availability, especially in the United States, but unfortunately its not going to be the case for every character. You can do like I did, and just save up for the ones you really want, or wait it out maybe another decade until the character you want gets a new update. I ended up paying around $400 for a MIB T30 Metroplex about 3 years ago, and I dont regret it. Statements like this blow my mind, especially after seeing Siege Shockwave litter Target shelves for well over a year after its release. Target literally had to get them down to less than $20 to finally get rid of them.
yeah, that's crazy, I remember just stacks and stacks of him clogging shelves when Earthrise Prime was supposed to be showing up.
Maybe they meant Studio series shockwave? That thing came and went then skyrocketed with little to no sales.
