Only character I can see on Elita's box is Jazz for a leg. Moonracer and Novastar's box widen enough to show Moonracer for an arm. I can't see any other characters to even build a team based on package art.

 

I don’t know. I was planning Inferno, Rook, Alpha Bravo, Jazz, and Ricochet. But that leaves out Wreck Gar who should be in here somewhere...

 

The shared parts are what makes it a retool. Shared engineering is something else entirely. For instance, TR Chromedome and CW Dead end share engineering. POTP Hungrrr and CW Silverbolt share engineering. It's not the same thing.

 

That is just... weird. I would've expected this in the Select series, not the Siege series. So much for Siege figures not having gimmicks that don't make sense for them?

I guess we can't trust anything they've said at this point... any figure could potentially be a repaint of an old headmaster or combiner limb.

Also, Elita only having 2 limbs was disappointing... but if they leave her at just 3/4, that will just be an insult.

 

Isn't Jazz one of her limbs though?
So this makes a full combiner.

 

Looking at her compared to my copy of Moonracer, she has more than a new head.

The forearms, abdomen, lower legs and feet are also remolded. Her fists look like they no longer hinge inward for transformation as well. Look forward to seeing if the alt mode has any new tooling.

 

Looks cool. Elita\'s combiner torso looks good but the rest looks so goofy.   Will keep em seperate. lol

 

Cool.... as others said, just need Lancer now. And I like this mold fine, I don't mind having a third one.

Also, calling Dazzlestrike a redeco seems generous. Just a few extra bits of green paint, from the looks of it. That's my only real complaint about this set... I wish they'd taken the opportunity to give the Battlemaster a completely different deco.

 

I imagine that this mold's gonna be the new Classics Seeker mold: everywhere, repainted as anything vaguely feminine.

 

The one thing that makes me angry though is that they leave the CW port on Greenlight and don't put one on Chromia???? SOOO damn close to a female combiner team...   Still wouldn't put it past them to come out with Arcee or someone as another Moonracer repaint just to give Elita her 4 full limbs, but still... color-wise Chromia would look better, too.

 

Looks nice, and I'm always up for more fembots and/or combiner parts. Though it does strike me as slightly odd that she doesn't have Moonracer's (or Novastar's) gun.

Most of the alleged molding differences other than the head look to me like they're actually just the result of different paint masking, but I certainly wouldn't mind being proven wrong

All official depictions of Galvatronus (other than the IDW version, which is basically a different combiner with the same name) use the same configuration of limbs. It may not be a team so much as a specific set of victims, but it's definitely his official configuration. Maybe pick a different example?

 

Yes, and since it's a FEMME-bot, it should be only half as cool as a male bot (with half pay)!    

I can just imagine a Seeker responding with a "suck my contrail!" - which is highly inappropriate given the context of this conversation.

The next femme squad will clearly be a fleet of BUSES.

Surprised this isn’t in select series. Seems perfect since it’s a combiner. I’m leading to believe there’s gonna be a lancer as well.

 

So we have so far:

Elita Infinite: Elita One, Moonracer, Firestar, Greenlight
G2 Defensor surrogate: Inferno, Wreck-Gar, Jazz, Ricochet

All we need are Lancer and a blue helicopter limb(and maybe UW Ratchet if you don't count Jazz).

 

Well here\'s one figure from the siege line I can pass on, unless their doing something with power of the Primes or Titans return 

 

I think the big takeaway here is that Hasbro is cool with using the PotP gimmicks in the WFC line. Maybe they'll finally do some of the combiners and headmasters that they didn't get to the first time around.

...just please do the horrorcons at very least

 

I think most people are looking for a complete set of fembots for Elita. Jazz is a dudebot.

 

For me the line up is as follows.
Elita-Infin1te: Elita-1, Moonracer, Novastar, Jazz and Ricochet. Extra limb: Greenlight

G2 "Defensor": Inferno, Wreck-Gar, Jazz, Sludge and Slag.

King Starscream: Dreadwind, Blackwing, Blot and Sinnertwin.

I don't know if it's been pointed out yet but I noticed greenlight is WFC-S15. Shockwave Is WFC-S14 (the last numbered figure in wave 1) So it looks like Greenlight is in between wave 1 and 2 schedule wise it seems? (So hopefully that means a January/February release for her)
