Surprisingly, not even Vector Prime on Facebook touched this guy - and he was making up new characters all the time.

 

So I say that guy gets named Shockblast as we have a claim for the name, AND since the Energon version had similar colors. Precedent set.

 

As far as exclusives go don't forget Generations: Select Series that could include WFC repaints.

 

Hasbro is using the name "Shockblast" for G.I. Joe now.

 

Which means they can use it on Transformers, as both brands are Hasbro brands, correct?

 

Well, they do like to keep some names exclusive. We’ll never see a Decepticon called Cobra Commander in Transformers that has no relation to the G.I. Joe Cobra Commander.

 

I'd say the best deco to use (as it's been a while) is : Six Shot (2005) - Decepticon - www.tfu.info

But perhaps reappropriate the Shockblast name for him to avoid any confusion with Titans Return Six Shot.

Different shades of purple would be OK for a giftset version later (same shade as Brunt for example) but as a proper repaint Six Shot is best I feel.

 

I'd double dip for Shackwave.

 

G.I. Joe?​

There once was a G.I. Joe character named "Shockwave". When Hasbro regained the rights to use the name "Shockwave" following Energon Shockblast and and Alternators Shockblast, they released several new toys of the G.I. Joe character but renamed him "Shockblast", presumably in an attempt to avoid name overlaps between their two brands.

 

G.I. Joe is dead.

 

Basically. But let's be honest, at least fiction wise it went out fighting.

...Unless they decide to make a new G.I. Joe Movie and it would out of some miracle actually revive the franchise... but what's the chances of that?

 

Well, there's reportedly a Snake Eyes movie in the works.

 

A lot of those FFOD miscolours would work great as Generations repaints, for something like a Botcon set, if it were still around. Similar to the alternate dimension Cyclonus.

 

Or the vast amount of G1 & Unicron Trilogy Generics.

 

Or postponed?

 

Gods I can\'t wait for this chica to be released..

 

Especially with the announcement of the fifth limb.
