Mine was the same, one foot super tight. I loosened the screw and it was still really tight. I took the foot apart and sanded down the joint part (that the screw screws into) and now its fine.

In regards to the breakage, is this a screw joint or a pinned joint?

In case of the first, I would likely help to take it apart and use some silicone oil to lube it. Afterwards it would move much smoother reducing any risk of breakage.

In case of a pinned hole, something similar happened with Maketoys Gundog (a third party MP Hound). It came in two versions and for the toy version there were reports of the shoulder breaking when moving it (needed for transformation). The solution found was to carefully heat the metal pin with a soldering iron (for a few seconds) and then very carefully try to move it (without putting any stress on it). If it didn't move then repeat, but if it did then rotate it a few times. Because of the pin getting warm the plastic would become more mallable around it, clearing the pin and reducing stress.

Might work for this as a precaution.

I don't know how wide spread this is but mine seems sturdy, transformed him probably 8 times without being careful.

The breakage is usually caused by the transformation joint in the foot (moving it up and down to go in to tank mode) if the foot doesn't budge and you push hard enough it will sheer off at the ankle.

It seems it could be easily fixed by loosening the screw in the foot. If that isn't enough you can take the foot apart and shave/sand down some plastic and seems to fix it.

Exvee of Tformers explains it well here.

Thankfully mine is fine. For those of you who had yours broken... that's gotta suck ... does hasbro even do anything for QC issues like this?

Just shaving/cutting off a little bit of the edge of the ankle part does the same and has a less unsightly effect. I suspect the hole the foot parts plug into was drilled a micron off or so and the foot parts are correct.

It seems to not be entirely just the joint being too tight. It's seeming like a specific production run may have used some defective plastic. Look on the back of the box for numbers imprinted on it. and see if it says production run 91361. Mine is 90981 and is fine, so far.

My box has production code 91361 but other than a little stiffness my Slamdance has been able to move and transform just fine

Mine is fine. Also, the G2 SS is probably my favorite version of that mold.

I agree, G2 swipe together with Trenchfoot looks great. On top of that I put him next to Ricochet and Artfire and he's perfect, like the long-lost brother they never had.

Literally the easiest fix, no need for messing with the screws or anything

My Slamdance is fine. Ironically my issue is Sideswipe. Mine didn't come with right front wheel.

I’m thinking it’s a joke post saying the best way to fix the situation is to just leave them in vehicle mode.
