Sideswipe set is beyond disappointing IMO. Granted, I was entirely anticipating Slamdance to be a Skytread redeco, but I hold fast to my opinion that he and Squawkbox would make for excellent new-mold weaponizers. Far more realistically, I was thinking Sideswipe would come with new weapons, an angry face, attachable spiked tires, and a bandolier. Go big or don't bother.

 

This isn't Selects.

 

So Skywarp...YES, the others...not so sure. I like the look of G2 Sideswipe, but I was never a huge G2 fan except Megatron's Green/Purple tank...and I thought Slamdance was a Cassette combiner, right?

I knew he'd be a Skytread repaint because that was the only thing that held the alternate modes. Honestly, if I were to redo the G2 swipe set, you'd get Brunt with a new head as Slammer, to get the last Citybot minion

 

Take my money! Was umming and ahhing over Skywarp but three bonus Battlemasters? Yes please

 

I’d have liked Tankette, who shares a mold with Skytread’s drone in Titans Return.

 

Only ones I want from this group are Sideswipe and Greenlight. (oh and the targetmaster stuff too). Not that Skywarp and Slamdance don't look great. I just don't want a tetrajet, no matter how great the toy is. And at some point i'll get the KFC slam dance.

 

I must be such a weirdo, because I like the battle damage paint and I like the screamer mold. I don\'t know what\'s wrong with me.

When we got listings for these a couple months ago, the listing said G2 Sideswipe w/ Slamdance w/ G2 Aimless. Though it is a great homage.

 

Ok, I\'m in on Sideswipe, disappointed with Slamdance and there is WAY to much battle damage on Skywarp.

 

It all looks beautiful! Original g2 Sideswipe was my first figure so getting this is a must.

Do we actually know that it is select series? Also, it doesn’t really matter. AFAIK, “select” series figures are just as available as non-select figures. The designation is probably arbitrary and meant to drum up interest

 

based on greenlights packaging this will be wfc:siege proper, not generations selects

 

When I said I was hoping for a new Slamdance, I meant as Cassettes. But G2 Swipe needs more gnashing grit in his face, spiked tires and pouches!
