So you were in a gunfight, you would rather have your gun sticking out your chest than holding it in your hand ? Not exactly the best tactical choice. You would have to be directly in the line of enemy fire to hit your target. No shooting from the safe cover of bunkers or around corners...

These Battlemasters are pretty cool, knees would have been cool but no biggie.

I'm really looking forward to what we may see of Siege at New York Toy Fair in 4 months, I'm intrigued to see what WFC-S Springer is all about.

You and me both. I don't have any of those stores where I am so I generally order from bbts. As soon as they go up I am preordering apart from blowpipe as I'm getting that fig from my LCS.

You guys trip me out. Ive hated those chest pegs on Caliburst and Blowpipe since they came out in 1987. But at least back then, I understood why they existed given the figure had zero articulation. However, with modern engineering I just dont see a need for chest pegs to exist anymore. Technically, in real life it would be a squared handle with a trigger and finger guard. If you guys see the chest pegs as cannons, Im scared to think what youre vivid imaginations see when you look at G1 Megatron's trigger crotch.

I would much prefer buying several Lionizers at once in one box, or a four pack of the patrols for $14.

Alas, that’s not gunna happen, but some of these figures will wind up at discount retailers, of course.

Works for the Bioboosted Armor Guyver!

I don’t thing their sculpts were all THAT worse, but his point is still pretty valid: although I’m pretty sure T30 was when deluxe MSRP went to $15 - now, you’d look at a Deluxe ($20) 2 Battlemasters ($12) and an off-the-rack comic ($4), so, while there are certainly improvements in sculpt and size and a few more accessories, you are still paying an eye-watering $36 for ESSENTIALLY the same experience you got for $15 just 4-1/2 years ago. That’s a lot of inflation!

That's still disregarding the major upturn in size, sculpted detail, and paint work for the new deluxes. Again, T30 was a massive downturn for that size class. Plus rising costs for plastic, even disregarding inflation. It's so easy to complain if you turn off your brain but with a little consideration it isn't that bad. I'm certainly not defending Hasbro because of a part of it is simple price hiking. I just wish people would be reasonable and not look like misinformed idiots.

    Ebay:
They had a few more as of closing last night!

I was wondering this myself - usually when a street date is broken, the item won't scan on the in-store end-of-aisle price checkers, but this guy rang up, no problem!

All of these Battle Masters are cool in their own way, but I'm only to get a few of them. What I regret by doing so, is the little fire effect that is used to mount into the weapons of others. I just wish Hasbro (or 3P) would sell these fire effects accessories in bundle/package.

Hold on--could you clarify "upturn in size?" Everything is shrinking. The deluxes ESPECIALLY so (followed by the voyager figures). That's actually my biggest beef, with both Siege AND Studio Series. I mean seriously--people on this board in other threads have already taken to saying "new voyager sized" and the like because of it. I wouldn't mind the increase in costs due to materials/inflation if they didn't shrink everything down.

Sculpted detail I will grant. But if you want to bring up the "extra" paint--that's another one. Where they dropped a lot of paint apps for cheap stickers, and now they're going back to the old paint amounts. So we call that "extra." Sorry--there's inflation, and then there's Hasbro trying to see how much more they can charge for this stuff.
