Would you all like a Siege Crosshairs in movie colors? Galaxy Force Prime with flames and silver Jet Wing parts? How about a silver Sideswipe? Maybe a mostly black, with some red Jetfire.

I'd kinda want to wait till Crosshairs gets his own mold before seeing him in movie green. Which, for the record, I'd definitely want to see. The rest though? Sign me up!

TonTon's got a review of Astrotrain up. He looks fun.

He's using his own voice in reviews now.

Anyone who has the TR Astrotrain, do these share similar engineering?

How early does he tend to get this stuff? In other words, how soon could we see Astrotrain?

I have TR Astrotrain, and TR Octane/Optimus.
He does not share any engineering with TR Astrotrain.
A lot of people initially thought he shared engineering with TR Octane/Optimus, but after seeing how the nosecone works, it is completely different from how Octane/Optimus worked.

Early. He's in Vietnam (I believe, somebody correct me if I'm wrong) and gets them straight from the factory. His methods are probably illegal? Shady at least

He looks pretty neat, but can't see myself paying $50 just yet.

What I do love is his tender/caboose/launch pad/battle platform thing. The armor of the previous leaders is pretty cool, but only really works with certain characters. Weapons platforms are the way to go (come on Thunderclash & Rodimus...).

He looks like the perfect size (in bot mode). I rewatched TF:TM recently and noticed he's about a head shorter than Starscream and the seekers/coneheads, and Starscream actually had to bend down so Astrotrain could put his crown on him.

The degree of skeletal hollowness of the Back half of the shuttle is really off putting.

My hope is that someone (Nonnef, Toyhax, Perfect Effect, TDW, etc) makes something to nest in that area to smooth things out. There seems to be several areas where something like that could be tabbed into place. If done right, that piece could integrate into the other modes as armor/weaponry.

Thanks. I've held out on TR. I have the Henkei currently so I can't wait for this Siege one.

    Yeah, looks great to me.

Wait, so he's shorter than a Voyager?

Dammit, why even sell him as a Leader then? At least Shockwave was Voyager-size and could get a bit taller. Astrotrain's accessories are pretty much useless.

I know size classes don’t dictate height, but damn, Astrotrain is shorter than unarmored Prime. His little box doesn’t look like it’s worth the extra $20 over voyager price. I was hoping Astrotrain would end up big to make up for his lack of extra functionality compared to the other Siege leaders.

Why are you surprised about that, given what we know about Siege?

He's roughly the height that he was in the Sunbow cartoon in comparison to the other Siege bot modes. How is that "tiny"?
