bluestreak looks so good. the colors on his car mode are slick. i can't wait to get him in hand.

 

Wait so since this is the war for cybertron does that mean this Soundblaster is its own character instead of a rebuilt Soundwave?

 

Im still gonna get Soundwave, in my opinion the chest is too big for Soundblaster, and yes I know that his chest is supposed to be big. I\'ll also try to get Bluestreak, Prowl, and Smokecreen. 

 

These 2 are awesome!  Soundblaster has always been my fav with the dark colors and now holding 2 cassettes!!!

It's not meant to be in the "stoyline" per se. These are just repaints of the orginal figures. Otherwise there would be a grey Shockwave calling himself "Galactic Man" on the chest in Cybertron.

 

From someone who gets his Siege Bluestreak early, I can say that the paintjob is pretty good and sells the mold itself better than Prowl.

However, I won't suggest anyone to went everywhere or spent anything over 40 USD just to get it. It's a nice repaint of an alright mold, but not "40~50 USD" nice.

 

Soundblaster's chest is too big, looks pretty bad, actually. I like that he can hold two cassettes, but they should've modified the inner chest and shrunk the door's depth a bit. That's laughably bad, in my book. Ugh.

Bluestreak looks incredible.

 

He's always made with the big chest, though. The way they did it here is the same as it was done for the original.

I want red visor to swap on Siege Soundwave\'s head.

 

Well since there is only one media (comic) using these designs, we don t know.

He is usually soundwave rebuilt but the cartoon has not been released.

Maybe the toy bio might indicate something?

 

Sadly none of these 35th anniversary guys have online bios like the other siege figs

 

If their US release date is September 1st or October 1st, hasbro May update the site at this time. Also If soindblaster has a secret code/ message on the side of the box, we may get more info on the character as well.

I believe the message for siege thunder cracker doesn’t work yet, so hasbro will definitely update the website again

 

I am a huge fan of "The Headmasters", so the fact we're getting a Soundblaster is super exciting to me. My only gripe is that front panel is a little too big i think.

I understand Soundblaster without the ability to hold two cassettes is like doing Overlord without a base mode, but man that thing goes all the way out. Maybe if the color was a little more subtle it wouldnt bug me as much, but dang that is some prominent buttery golden orange that just demands your attention. Personally i wish they 50/50'd the extra size by taking some mass out of the back of the cassette deck, but as a dude who hasnt handled a siege Soundwave yet, i dont know if thats even an option. Those red highlights look s-h-a-r-p though.

I've also heard that original Soundblasters got scrapped all the time and had their front doors installed onto regular Soundwaves, i wonder if we're going to see anything like that with this modern one.
