Which of these automobile Transformers that had less than a minute of screentime do you prefer? I vote Sideways. His alternate mode is awesome (he’s an Audi, the only non-GM vehicle in all these films), his design is awesome and his jumping through a building was awesome.
Jolt, absolutely and forever. I adored both of their designs and vehicle modes, but Jolt had super lightning powers and fused a dead guy with a zombie to create one of the badass motherfuckers in the entire goddamn Movieverse. Megatron eating his cannon, the Harvester's kaboom and Fallen facing facts, it all came back to Jolt, baby
Jolt, purely because I'm quoted on his wiki page. (And the comic itself) I still resent the fact they called me 'young', even though I was like... thirteen at the time.
I like Sideways. But I like to call him Dead End because I feel as if the name works better for him. He's pretty interesting in terms of his vehicle......... Jolt was good, but I wasn't too interested with his electro whips and vehicle mode.
Sideways, because the Animated Almanac makes his other namesakes one and the same, and Armada Sideways was the fucking man.
Sideways had a pre animated scene that was planned to be longer than what was originally shot. The short video contained him fighting Sideswipe which would've worked well. Jolt on the other hand most likely never had more screen time planned, which is a shame. I would've preferred both Jolt and Sideways a good amount of screen time.
Was this released as one of the less detailed animations they tend to make, like was shown in the ROTF behind-the-scenes? Is it on the net somewhere?
Jolt all the way, because he knows how to be a true badass. Make everything possible from the side lines and demand no recognition.
Um, Barricade, Que, Dino, Bonecrusher, Megatron, Optimus, and Soundwave would all like a word with you.
Jolt. He is so underrated. Sideways was just another 'con who obviously wasn't going to survive the opening fight, & while he was cool for the 30 seconds of screentime he had, he was just there for Sideswipe to kill. Without Jolt, Optimus might not have even had the strength to fight Megatron, let alone The Fallen. Jolt indirectly saved the world. Plus, he had those awesome electrified whips & claws. It would have been cool to have seen him in DOTM though, even though he got killed by Shockwave in the comics.
I found Sideways to be a far more interesting character (based on his bio anyway.) It's too bad he was wasted in the movie...
Jolt had a unique and brilliant design and turned into an otherwise bland car. Sideways was a pretty bland Barricade lookalike that turned into a kickass car. I say Jolt because, well, Jolt.
If I remember correctly, thiz short video should be on the 2nd Disc of ROTF . Would someone be so generous as to upload this on here?
