So, just a quick post here...

I had been avoiding buying Sideways for a while due to the fact that every one I found had a pint job that didn't sit right with me. It was either marked up, or faded in some way on virtually every figure I picked up and checked out. In general, but only as a personal observation, I kept saying to my self based on the trailer, that it would've been nice if they had made him a gunmetal, dark silver, versus the fairly light (and seemingly always flawed) shade they had...

Low and behold, a few days back I check out a TRU I hadn't been to since the release and there hung 3-4 distinctively darker, gunmetal silver Sideways, and with perfect paint jobs! I immediately picked him up and am so glad I waited.

This is not just a paint job variation, this is an obvious new choice in color for the figure that IMO looks significantly better. Is this the permanent new version? A variant?

The Sideways and Breakaway variants have been known before release.
