Nitro Bee clogs the shelves at my work/Kmart. We have a box of eight sitting out the back. I hope they never see the light of day. No one buys them.

 

It's not that I'd mind buying them, but I don't have enough spare cash to spend on toys.

And Sideswipe is automatic win because he has swords, wheel feet and a bad ass car mode.

 

Thats just it. He does almost everything and gets most of the attention. Most importantly, I'm sick and tired of him seeing him on 95% of the merchandise. (besides the toys [But there still is ass-loads of Bumblebee toys])

I like them because they are some of the coolest cars on the market and because they have tottaly awsome robot modes with cool accents

 

I'm not really sure how anyone can compare Sideswipe and Mirage to Boba Fett. I mean they at least killed a few Decepticons and they didn't fall into a sarlacc pit.

 

Bumblebee in the first movie? Awesome. Bumblebee after Sideswipe rolled onto the scene in ROTF? Cool, but no Sideswipe.

 

Lol . . . if only they got to be in some sort of prequel (not made by GL ;-)

Dudes like them because they kick ass.

Girls like them because they are extremely vulnerable to TF Slash.

 

I love Sideswipe. It's a combination of the the design (which is amazingly awesome) and the character. We don't get enough of him in ROTF or DOTM, but I do love what we get, and I also like his back story in the movie comics, with Ironhide being his mentor and him arriving to Earth as a loose cannon (would have made for good material in ROTF, if the movie had been better). He's distinctive, even with his little amount of screen time.

I'm a lot less enamored with Dino/Mirage. I think the design is cool, but in DOTM, there's so little of him that he comes off a bit like Sideswipe #2. There may be some movie comic stuff I haven't read that might add to him, but he needs more work than Sideswipe in giving him some character.

 

Pretty much all the Autobots are cool guys who don't afraid of anything, but people feel Sideswipe and Dino deserve more appreciation because they weren't as prominent.
