Sideshow had announced, I believe, a year ago that they were going to make full size statues of R2-D2 and C-3PO. They now have the design approved and threw up some pictures and an order for them both.

They are crazy expensive, and building your own would probably cost you less, but damn, talk about the ultimate collectible.

 

Actually, building your own Artoo unit is not only cheaper, but it'd actually work, too (movement, lights, sound - not just a statue). I've always wanted to sign up for one of those courses...

 

For that price, why didn't they just dip them in gold while they were at it? Yikes.

 

I still want that Geewun Prime that you need a loading dock to order...
