Its a huge statue but I don't like the pose . I think they could have gone with something
    better.

I have purposely held off on buying a lot of sideshow items i wanted knowing this was going to do me in. Now I see it was worth the wait. The detail is out of this world. Unbelievable.

ya know, I was just posting about this thing over at procustomizers.com, and this looks great, but looking at it now, something about it seems off... like the head is to big or something.. Idk, maybe I'm to stoned on Vicodine to know what I'm walking about.

OMG... That looks really good!!!! I might just consider getting it just for those excellent details!! Too bad it doesn't transform huh..lol..

Its no doubt the best rendition of non-transformable movie prime in figure/statue format....:thumbs2:

From the rumors I heard, they're gonna try to make Bumblebee, Starscream and Megatron. Versus pieces are a given if this sells well btw, though they'll be a bit smaller and not quite as detailed.

It is nice, bur I'm very happy with my Buster prime (not to mention price and the whole idea that a statue presumably has no articulation).

I would still be interested in large scale, die cast, non transforming, highly detailed, properly painted, articulated toys. Basically what robot replicas should have been.

It's not just you. The proportioning looks great except for that head. It looks like the head from a different figure that they just popped on there.

I know Hasbro has expressed reluctance in licensing Transformers action figures in the past for fear that they wouldn't be up to their own standards. It would be interesting to see if they would license non-transformable figures.

I gotta play Devil's Advocate on this. (Sorry.) I certainly think this is indeed a very impressive statue. The molding, details, and paint make it seem like it stepped right out of ILM's hard drive.

However, Buster Prime's molding, details, and paint ain't so shabby! If we're talking about something like G1 Prime (the toy) and a statue this detailed of G1 Prime, then of course people will pay any price. The jump in quality (compared to Buster Prime) is not all that great to me, and this thing won't even transform. I just don't see the allure.

Same argument with MP Prime. There may be many G1 Prime statues that cost more than MP Prime, but for my money, I don't understand why you wouldn't pay for a MP Prime, which looks as good or better than any fixed-pose statue.
