I personally feel like the trailer could be more of a green. Just looks a bit dismal for garbage truck to me.
Looks pretty cool. Hopefully you are filling in the holes on the sides so the trash doesnt fall out the sides..
the canon i'm making for her is that she hauls corpses to sell on the black market, and i don't think i own any toys that could fit through those gaps
Maybe she could use some kind of flexible netting as a liner, like the mesh netting bag used in supermarkets for onions, lemons, and oranges? If the mesh was trimmed into a large circle and "weights" added to the edges, Sideload could wield it in robot mode as a net & trident (or spear) fighter. (She'd need a trident or spear though.)
the mesh sounds like a good idea, but i wonder if it'd still be able to transform. I might try that out. No on the trident/spear, though.
Sounds really good and would make her trailer look like a mobile cage at the same time. I think the whole look would profit a lot if you'd add some black and yellow warning stripes. If you glue it into the gaps of the trailer there shouldn't be a problem. And if it doesn't stay attached completely it would even add to a worn down look. Will you add weathering and damage effects to her?
Maybe just leave the mesh removable, so you can slip it out to transform? If you ran string in and out through the mesh around the outer edge/circumference, it could be used like a drawstring. That'd let Sideload keep her haul of bot corpses, parts, junk all together in a "bag" when she transforms.
Unless your sheld is weathered and damaged, too. But seriously I think it would suit her whole theme perfectly and would fit better/look more natural with corpses lying in her trailer. It might neither be as eye-catching as pure bright primary colors but nor look totally out of place on a shelf. And weathering and battle damage effects make every custom look amazing. But your choice of course. Either way I'm looking forward to see her finished.
I really appreciate the waste management company making a pun about their paint job on the side of their truck
basically, yeah, but the color scheme works well as a merc, especially with a darker green and more black.
