a more detailed explaination of this bot made for the cyb.ca sick kids charity project.
this bot started life as a tonka/playskool bot named charlie chopper.most of his new limbs and joints are salvaged from a 1/32 scale roadbot hummer h2.
he does still retain his electronic phrases when you press on his cockpit.
he transforms almost like a beastwars flip changer.
the head was graciously donated to the cause from venksta.
he does also actually combine into one of defensor's limbs, courtesy of mods done by cliffjumper69.
decals donated to the cause by autobotx23.
his long rotor blades can also detach and be his blades of fun in bot mode.
painted with tamiya acrylics coated in krylon matte clear.

here's hoping the auction goes well!!!(fingers crossed)

    thanks guys!!!:thumbs2:

thanks!!those playskool tonka bots are good for more than just kiddies:wink:

thanks, but the credit for the head/microphone idea all goes to venksta!without him on this project, poor blades would still have a football shaped head with a big grin on it;p!

thanks for the nice words guys!!seriously,i hope this ends up getting the kids foundation a decent donation.
there's nothing worse imho than sick/hurt/injured wee ones.

I usuaully frown on use of lego parts, but in this case, it pretty much works out. Nice.
