Searched every thing I could think of for this series and didn't get a hit... if there's a thread, please merge. Anybody else watching this one? I kept putting it off--was worried it would be Sopranos-ish but not as much as I thought-- but caught up on my other series and finally decided to do some binge watching this week, just have 1 episode left to watch for Season 1. Spoiler Edit: Just finished the season... James Woods was bad and good...to the end. Season 2 is schedule to start airing July 13, 2014. Liev Schreiber is pretty good as the tortured Ray, he's a 'fixer' in LA... some of his clients are real pieces of crap but Ray usually manages to make their troubles disappear......he just can't make his own do the same...... His family are definitely as dysfunctional and f'd up as they can be. Between his wife and kids and his brothers--and especially his dad, life if not easy for Ray. Going from Boston to LA wasn't far enough to escape his past or his dad. Jon Voight is amazing as Ray's dad, Mickey... and a real piece of work. So easy to hate him, but so far, it's looks like he outplays Ray at the 'fixing' game. So...discuss.... love it, hate it or never watched it?
Don't hate it or love it. Very well acted, but never held my interest. Curious what season 2 will bring.
This show is underrated. It's like a new Dexter for me. Liev Schrieber and Jon Voight are excellent, James Woods was great last season. Can't wait for this seasons premiere.
If you have Showtime, there's a sneak peek at Season 2 on demand right now... it's only a couple of minutes. Basically.... From the looks of things the gf/nurse will make some trouble for Ray based on what happened in the Season 1 ending. Jon V./Mickey says he has left a mess...somebody's gotta clean up. He also states that Ray was born to be his judge. Liev says a lot of secrets are coming out.... and that they're 'going back'... to Boston?? Not sure what he meant by that one.
Didn't they get that old timer killer to off his dad from Boston? that Ray was like wanted or very well known in that city, or his family was? idk. I just remember vaguely about it from last season.
Yeah, they tried... but smooth talking Mickey turned the tables on Sully...and Ray. Double-double cross.
