Glad I looked in here to see how long I should wait for an item.
Used to ShowZ's super fast shipping of 2 weeks or less, but getting a little antsy, as I have a Flame toys Kuro Kari Kuri Hot Rod in transit, shipped on 3/1 with it saying it left the airport on 3/10 with no update, and have a Newage SG Inferno which shipped on 3/13 and looks like will probably get to me today 3/19 or tomorrow 3/20. Just a little concerned due to the Hot Rod being a big ticket item and being sold out everywhere for the most part, and previous big ticket items got to me from ShowZ in under 2 weeks or less.

 

I know in my case, it's a large item, and Abbythecat said they used the only shipping method available for it.

I'm sure both of our items will arrive eventually. If not, I'm sure Showz will do everything in their power to make it right.

 

ShowZ may be slow but the stuff eventually arrives (trade-off between price and speed). So far, I have not had a lost package from ShowZ (200+ items).

Only potential lost item was a large package that didn't update the tracking for 45 days. They were about to send a new one ($400 item!) when the tracking updated. So I asked them to hold off on sending a replacement. Fortunately, the original arrived later and they didn't have to mail a new item.

 

I think there is a thread in TFW2005 somewhere as a tutorial to let you shop on Taobao without knowing any Chinese

yep. had a package sit in one spot for a few days after clearing customs and got handed off to aci or w/e

Yeah. Sometimes a week to a week and a half. Just gotta be patient.

 

@AbbytheCat I have a question but you don't have to answer if it's a trade secret. It seems like ShowZ restocks NewAge frequently compared to MagicSquare. Does MagicSquare not let you reorder often? There are figures that I've missed but would've ordered from ShowZ if they came back in stock. Thanks.

 

Thank you @AbbytheCat, I tried talking to Kasper first, but it seems he misunderstood my request/ question, so I am taking you up on your offer, you should have an email from me.

 

Its more than likely moving within that shipping service's network. You'll often see it not move for a while and then be delivered. And if its Pittney Bowes they will often leave a package sit in one location for a week or more. Often one stop away from you.

 

Should be able to shipped out next week or the week after

It is normal per se, but if the package stop updating for too long it might have some problem

lol, no problem and it is not some secret. We have good relationship with MStoys for sure. And for NA, we have cooperated for nearly 10 years, so from time to time, we manage to get some "secret stash" from NA

Any idea when or if the first batch of New Age Michael are shipping? Also how would I go about finding out of my preorder would have made it into the first batch or if I missed the first batch.

Shipping will be taken place next week most likely, the next batch will be 2-3 weeks after that

I have emailed Kasper who tells me they have been in touch with Yanwen to find out the issue and all I have been told is that it has been inspected by Customs and to wait.
It had been with UK customs now for 22 days; my concern is that if no-one contacts the UK Customs to discover the reason that the item will be returned to Showz.
