Curious question... I'm aware that China basically shuts down over the new year, and it takes a while to wind back up to speed after the official celebration ends. When do you suppose things would be "normal" enough that people a little wary of shoddy postage (why, yes, I am looking at you, Australia Post) should be comfortable ordering things again?
