Well, damn. Got my new Zeta Bruticus today, and a piece of Vortex that's supposed to TURN instead just twisted off, breaking at the plastic peg. The same part on the mirror side was fine. I can't cement it, because then it would also become permanently affixed to the base it's supposed to turn on (required for transformation). It's one of the exhaust bits, and to fix it seems I'll need the plain gray joint it comes attached to with the metal pin. I should be able to unscrew that cover and pop the assembly in... Do I contact Show Z directly about that, they part out figures for repair don't they?
Yeah, I had the same break but it snapped in the box. I think the way it sits in the foam puts some pressure on it if it gets shook around enough. Just send them your info thru the 'After Sales' bar at the top of the showz page
I think I am done with Show Z.
After a entire month of waiting for a package and not receiving it, contacting Show Z, contacting CDL to cofirm it was not delivered and put a note in their file, I just got a another reply from Kelsi from show z to provide proof and afterwards, Show Z will send another replacement. I had requested a refund because I didn't want to wait another month and have a possible repeat of this nonsense.
I just replied to Kelsi that he could follow up with CDL himself since I did the leg work of contacting CDL, kick it up to Paypal dispute and let Paypal dispute, and I was done as their customer.
I am out as Show Z fan.
I will just use other vendors for collecting transformers from now on.
Well I have quite the opposite feeling. Just yesterday I found out that Showz had issued me a ton of points to make up for a price cut that occurred just after I purchased Cyber Factory Star Storm. And the shipping took just 2 1/2 weeks door to door. Been nothing but happy with my last 3 purchases from them.
Obviously your experience is your experience and you're free to make any choice you want, but it seems like it would be simple just to reply back saying 'I had requested a refund'. 99% of the time they're going to be sending a replacement, so it's understandable how they would communicate that by default.
Some recent orders just shipped, but with a tracking number type I've not seen before, starting with 'YHT'.
I wouldn't normally be concerned but the last few shipments of type 'YT' were super fast to the US. Hopefully, this change isn't for the worse...
Meanwhile my experience is receiving a figure covered in rust and hearing nothing back for a week now.
Abby the cat, what up with all the secret squirrel stuff with Fans Toys Trailbreaker? He was never announced in the stock updates and didn't show up as available on his item page.
I would suggest that you also check the ‘New updates’ as well. Keep in mind that they do not receive all their inventory at one time so those that prepaid in full likely were shipped first. It may not have triggered an ‘In stock’ alert because they did not have extra inventory.
Some extra parts that were missing from a figure received back in December finally showed up today. If someone still has a request pending out there, have faith. I really doubted they would get them and actually had forgotten about it. Thanks for doing what you do SZ!

we received your email 2 days ago, on 5th July, and decided to send you a new one, but need to confirm the shipping address again since the previous devliery seems failed
However you opened a Paypal case on the very next day before we can send you a reply, which hit us with a suprise.
So right now we can do nothing but fully refund you.
Please be a little more patient next with other vendors who also use Paypal, once you opened a case, there is almost nothing they can do but fully refund you

We shipped all FT-25 that we have currently, and there are still some pre-orders left to fullfill and we also been told we will get more by FT. So we marked FT25 as still pre-order (obivisouly it is no instock), and once we have more left after fullfilled all the pre-orders, we will change the listing to instock

today i preordered the new Rising Force RF-L01 catfish(deadend) figure. As I have been doing lately I chose the showz standard shipping (10-15 days).
Why was the shipping charge for this $21.00?
I have never seen a shipping charge so high.
I promptly cancelled the order because the figure is only $24, I may reorder with the free shipping but wanted to see if that $21 dollar shipping is an error or are your shipping costs all going up that much??

if you want to see that it was in fact $21 dollars shipping. I put it in my archived order list.
I sure hope its an error and shipping prices aren’t going up that high.

Did you accidentally pick express shipping? I just looked out of curiosity and express shipping is $21.25.
They changed something, just yesterday “express” shipping was called “showz standard shipping” and its what i have been selecting for orders. Looking at my current preorders both express and standard shipping say 10-15 days. Yesterday I preordered MMC Probus with the 10-15 day shipping and the shipping charge was only $2.62
Just last week I preordered Magic Square’s Ratchet with the 10-15 day shipping and that charge was $2.18
I’ll have to check other figures to see if standard shipping which is/was 10-15 days has changed to now being called express shipping with the same 10-15 day estimate but priced 4-5 times higher.
I’ve ordered about 10 figures from showz in the last few months and picked the faster paid for shipping on most of them. On all of the paid shipping orders up until the latest order this morning the charge for shipping was only in the $2-5 dollar range for 10-15 day estimated shipping time.
Yeah something is weird with the Rising Force listing, I just checked a few other figures for preorder and they still all have showz standard shipping as the paid option not express shipping like the rising force figure has …

@AbbytheCat Weird question (or maybe not) but why did the Transarts Transmetal Megatron go down in price? I ask because we see prices tend to fluctuate, so I don't know whether I should pre-order now because the price might go up when it's out or wait for reviews before buying just in case it's a bad figure.
