What happened if you don’t mind me asking? I had an issue months ago where TFE didn’t pack in the alternate head. Show Z sent me a replacement head in the mail and they handled it like pros

So I made my first order from ShowZ the other day and I can't help find it odd that I wasn't charged any sales tax, considering my state does that. Will I end up having to pay that at a later date?

 

I don’t think anyone gets charged tax from any Chinese retailer, that’s half the fun!

shouldn't and shouldn't be odd...but we never know what gets instituted these days and we are left to just ponder infinitely on the legalities of it. USUALLY if you're buying an import of a good that is otherwise not provided to you buy your local retail market, then sales tax should never come into play. But like all things...can be susceptible to change. Greed in various forms sometimes (this case government) makes us enjoy life less.

we always get charged normal tax on aliexpress(but with that comes a guarantee of no extra fees on delivery)
i think showZ cheats the system by underdeclaring everything as something like $20 and charging €5 tax through shipping costs.
