Heh, I think my userpic if a dead giveaway, but here's a pic of me, nabbed from my facebook. Also, an interview (if anyone's interested, heh) I did during the Toronto Comicon about Customizing: Interview with Blayne Scott Custom Action Figures and Toys - YouTube
Ok,in the 1st pic:this was me trying to freak my Gf out because I gave myself a spiked Mohawk.I was trying to do one of those phony WWE poses. 2nd pic was us at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in the Bay Area this last summer and with my 2 daughters.
Brunkion76 Hey everybody, just saw this thread a few days ago, figured i'd drop a photo or 2. I've been doing the Radicon thing for about 4 years now with varying degrees of success. I'm one of those that doesn't really come up with my own stuff but just copies others formulas and puts my own personal touch to them lol. I've pretty much decided to collect only G1 updates, you know, classics and what not. I do like TF Prime though, and I have Legends thrown in there for good measure. Most of you have probably bought, sold or traded something with me at some point here on TFW. Here's me with my old collection (I've probably sold about 75% of what you see in the pic) circa 2009 I think. The wife and I across the street from the reception hall of one of our friends' wedding in New Jersey. (Used to live in NY, but now reside in Warner Robins GA) Another friends' wedding lol. Monkeying around at the St. Louis zoo Family time at the park a few weeks ago Myself and dinosaur junior. My son Solomon at 16 months I grew up in Hawaii and we go back every so often. This is Solomon's first time at the beach, he loved it! Nap time, Hawaiian style My other kids, Mud and Greyson The guy that started it all for me really, my first full custom, Powerglide
Thanks Allen, and thank you for the help here and there and kind comments on many of my builds. Thank you, he was one of my favorite minibots when I was a kid. Of course I gotta give a little credit to kalron for the inspiration he provided with his Powerglide!
Hey, I'm Ed! I'm 18 and I just recently got into collecting Transformers thanks to my friend Jon, who is also a member of TFW. I'm not entirely new to collecting toys, however. I really like anime and giant robots so that's most of my collection, however small it may be. I'm not a Radicon, but I aspire to be one! I look at all these great customs that people post all the time and sit there and wish for the talent. My favorite TFs are CHUGs, I guess and my favorite class is Scouts. Not being able to afford some of them is kind of a bummer, but hey thats how things are, I guess. My dream is to one day own Victory Leo and Star Saber AND COMBINE THEM INTO THE MIGHTY VICTORY SABER, YEAH!!! As for my favorite TF toy right now, its a fight between RTS Tracks and the G2 Jazz from the Generations gift set thing. Umm, other cool things I'm interested in are Street Fighter, Super Sentai and other cheesy spandex heroes, boxing, and knock off toys. Here's some pics of me attempting to look cool when I'm clearly not.
Hey, who let the dreamboat in here! Shove off, pretty boy! Damn turbo-revving punk! Gotta love how all our childhood Christmas photos now just look like Instagram pictures from last week. zmog
Still have that 3-D Transformers comic, and the glasses, in a box along with a couple of thousand other comics back on Prince Edward Island. Too bad I don't still have the Thor T-shirt though, but thankfully, I do not still have that haircut! Here's a few more droolingly handsome shots. My God how did I get so incredibly ridiculously handsome?!! so ridiculously ridiculously handsome. Self ego boosting done. Posting pictures break almost complete. Getting get back to painting my Bot Shots Landcross custom imminent.
Holy crap dude... I totally forgot that you're from PEI too!! Did you get that 3D Transfomers comic from Outlands back in the day? That's the one with the Technobots in it, right? As far as I remember, Outlands was the only comic specialty store in town when that issue came out. zmog
