So an old friend of mine that shanghaied me into playing WoW (he literally handed me the Battlechest when I was back in LA a couple of weeks ago) wanted to see my comp setup. So I snapped a few pics and it got me thinking it was time for a Desk Thread again. So Post Em Up!
Well here's one from last year: To the immediate right was my bed, to my immediate left was a clothes rack and the wall, and immediately behind me was the door. I had a choice of sitting at my desk or opening my door. 'High quality accomodation' my rear end.
I miss having an awesome computer desk. I used to have a giant one at my home, and had a decent amount of toys battling it out on it, but now that i'm in a much smaller apartment, the coolest thing on my (very small) desk is a bottle of water.
my desk is a real mess, since i got laid off i haven't cleaned my desk or even organized the room, my father-in-law moved in w/us and it's turned into his room so i don't go in there much anymore. under the desk, where i keep spare parts.... can't see it but i have a black spiderman figure and venom w/ruber removeable mask from spiderman TAS. they are to the right of the monitor, before FiL moved in i had it looking nice, now i just kinda throw stuff down to get in and out as quick as possible, lol.
I have added a few TFs recently. i don't have a desk,really. my monitor sits on a corner unit with a DVD/VCR combo below it and my Home theater receiver below that on the bpttom shelf. My tower is on the floor against the wall and my Keyboard/mouse are on one of those adjustable tables you see in hospital rooms that i got for next to nothing. i can control Media Center and worlk from my bed. quite nice.
