Got a shipment from Japan yesterday... First row: Sander, Sammy, Sheriff, Tetsuya, George and Schultz. Second Row: Red Star and a collection of Microman comics. Death King
I wanted to make a custom pilot for Biotron that looked like a small version of him. Mixed parts of Microman Bobby and Barnes together and made this... Then I designed it this 3d printed head...
New bracket for Micronauts Red Falcon that allows you to turn the wings to be straight forward! No more shooting himself in the head! Red Falcon Wingding by mathewignash on Shapeways
Found this page in a 1985 catalog recently. These are the rare second recolors of the Giant Acroyear and Battle Cruiser. Barely saw any release.
When I was a kid, I could never find Micronauts in the stores, but I did see them in catalogues and such. I loved the look of the background on the boxes and figure cards like this. And the commercials were friggin cool as hell, too.
A pair of customs from my Shapeways store. There is a Microtron with the entended and articulated arms I designed, along with "Microguy", a completely new figure based on a half-scale Microtron.
Just spent a weekend copying all the pieces of Acroyear II into CAD. Made two kits on Shapeways from these designs. First is a guy I call Super Acroyear! He has a cape replacing his jetpack, new recolors, and a built-in wide stance of 5 degrees. He even has two recolors that I call Bat Acroyear and the Spartakian Micronaut Hunter. Super Acroyear Toys - Shapeways Games Second kit is a 150% upsize which retains 5mm pegs, and also has the wide stance. I call him Big Acroyear II. Big Acroyear Ii Toys - Shapeways Games
My 150% size version of Acroyear 2 was a big success! Already sold some on Shapeways. Still uses 5mm holes and pegs too.
Hasbro can't seem to get off it's behind and make new Micronauts designs, but Shapeways has it covered.. Roboid Microguy, the Team Bripler vehicle and the tiny alien menace Ampzookie!
