Superquad7 and I were chatting yesterday and I remembered something fun that they used to do at Transtopia. I don't think we've done it here for a while, so here goes:

    SHOW OFF YOUR WORKBENCH!

    [ATT]20473[/ATT]
    [ATT]20472[/ATT]

The top workbench has been...well...abandoned for now. I moved out to the living room and took over the coffee table for the summer because it means I can watch TV and build models at the same time. :D

From top to bottom, other neat (semi-abandoned) projects you might see include...

-The abandoned Klingon Bird-of-Prey to Decepticon project
-A fully-lit starship project, still in the half-way phases
    -A few Star Destroyers
-Waaaaay too many spare part kits
-The My Little Ponies that my fiance and I are doing for wedding gifts
-The YOU STUPID PIECE OF CRAP WHY WON'T YOU SNAP BACK TOGETHER cure-all: A muggfuggin' HAMMER.

Alrighty! Here is my "workspace." I always have about 30 projects going at once, but right now I think I have reached critical mass (hence the mess!) It is usually much cleaner, but right now I am trying to wrap up my Cyclonus model prototype, and get my Devastator Sculpture done, so lots of crap everywhere. I work off of 2 desks, and have all of my "bits" seperated in the plastic drawers along the wall. I got the little LCD TV mounted on the wall above with DVD and VCR hooked up (gotta have some background noise going while you work.) You can also see my humble collection in the background in the one pic. Without further ado:

Can't wait to see more of that Devastator Sculpture. OMG.

Looking at Sculpt-bot's setup makes me envious. Man...I really need to clean up my workspace.

Yep! The playset was purchased a LOOONG time ago, and it is the perfect starting point for my diorama. He is going to be set amongst the ruins of Autobot City. If you can see his left arm is reaching out, and will be crushing the laser cannon from the movie. Made the title plaque already "Prepare for Extermination!"
Glad you guys like the set up, it is truly a little refuge for me.

By normal standards, both. I usually will only have one or two projects laid out at once. Right now I have: A commisioned Arcee Head, Alt Afterburner (you can kind of see his front wheel up by the TV), Alt scale Dinobots (the Unicron body is the base for Sludge, and Grimmy and Slag are hiding in the pics somewhere), as well as the aforementioned Cyclonus, and Devastator!

Sculpbot, are you're collection shelves a custom unit or is that a store bought set up. I've not seen anything like it, but I think I"m in love. My colletion shelves are such a hodgepodge of what I could wrangle and afford over the years. I'm trying to get my room of the house sorted out so as I have a place to work again. I've not done much of anything model or custom wise in years. I miss it. Now my son's wanting to get into models, so it's time. Nice setups guys.
