Aw hell, as if I needed more of an excuse to track that guy down again. I actually quite liked that mold. I didn't know they made a gray version though! Was he some kind of exclusive?

Ah, that explains it, thanks! I can find a "Black Knight" Strafe, Slug, and Grimlock, but no sign of this Scorn on eBay. I'll have to keep an eye out for him...

 

Got my NA hound in today as well. This guy is one of their best releases at this scale. He can virtually pull off any pose and pretty impressive! Paint is an point, joints are tight and I figured out how to transform him from memory of some of the promo videos:

 

Decided that I like IF Dark Cygnus’s alt head for Grimlock better than the samurai head   (at least for a minute)

Now if only it didn’t have to just balance there, lol

 

Jumping on the Hound train, really love this little guy. Both modes look great, has accessories out the wazoo, and is just really fun to handle. A coworker who’s never transformed anything managed this guy with no problem and no help from me.
Also presenting the new dumbest thing in my collection, Piss Magnus! The core bot has no right to go this hard.

 

I've been getting really into collecting legends scale recently. Here's a pic of my current collection (with Legacy Menasor).
I'm definitely swaying more towards newage figures.

Newage Galvatron is en route from AliExpress, I know he's a little small next to some of the other leaders but he looks like a nice figure. Can't wait.  
Wish they'd do a Scourge already.
And then maybe a new Hot Rod and Kup.

 

Got these little guys in today from a board member, probably gonna grab a 3 pack as well for a total of 5 to go with the 3 super 7 quintessons I've got on order

I went with the KO of Newage Galvatron, yea he's got a bit of a forehead, but his overall size works better for me

 

Finally got around to playing with the expressive hands I got from @NOCV. It was fun trying to come up with a story to use them all. Mixed in some of the hands that came with MS Ironhide as well.

I tried to make it one large comic strip but TFW said it was too large.  

 

Love it! Although I could 100% see Swindle being on the other end of the stick too. He's the type to make a deal and hope they just forget to come and collect.

 

I was looking at my collection today and realized the holes are getting smaller.

S1: missing Sunstreaker and Brawn (Newage Brawn exists but I don't like him)

S2: Missing Defensor, 3/5 Bruticus, Skids, Smokescreen, and Warpath (correct me if I've forgotten any S2 characters)

TFtM: missing Wheelie and Blaster's tapes

S3: I don't even know who all is in S3 and beyond. It'll be a while before all of those get filled out.

Granted, there are a ton that need replacing. 4/5 of the dinobots, Wheeljack, the Aerialbots, the triple changers, Hot Rod, Rodimus, Scourge, Wreck Gar, the Headmasters, Blaster (so pretty much everything MFT), Cliffjumper (I have MST but I don't like him or NA), the Insecticons (they're alright but tiny and a little simple compared to more recent figures), and Fortress Maximus (not pictured because I can't find him in storage but I have Zeta's version). I wouldn't mind better Datsuns but the MST ones are good enough. I'd really like to see somebody pull off the Pretenders in comic scale (so the shells are only a little bigger than the bots rather than giant shells with tiny tiny bots). And I'd love love love to see a marvel style Powermaster Optimus (I imagine he'd be a little shorter than MST and NA combiners) and Scorponok.

Still, despite the fact that like 1/3 of my collection needs replacing, it's pretty damned cool that we've gotten representations of so many characters in this scale. We're getting close to catching up to MP.

 

Snaku mentioning needing a new Fortress Maximus reminds me, would it be cool to request a size comparison here of a non-Legends figure? 80% of my collection is IF-based, and space is scarce, so as a result, there's only one Fort Max I've been eyeing. If anyone has them, could I trouble you for a pic of Perfect Effect Warden (with leg upgrades) among some Iron Factory figures? I'm not sure if he'd be too big for my liking.
