But yeah he’s the only one that’s not Beast Wars as far as I know. And he’s bloody awesome.

 

This set, man... I'm full on obsessed with toy-style Newage stuff at this point lol. Definitely copying the genius idea I've seen in this thread of combining a clear and regular Insecticon set + stickers to check that box.

I understand Pangu, NewAge or Magic Square have better Omega Supreme and Devastator however i am contended with my MFT version. MFT tank is cute and reminds me of the tank game from Nintendo.

The first Devastator is medium size 91610 Yuexing with custom arm attachment made with Lego bricks, will take another picture after I have painted it.

The other devastator is MFT with Jesslyn upgrade kit.

 

Thanks. I really want a G1-ish Megs but I’ve never liked the pistol alt. EX36 isn’t easy to find now, at least at a reasonable price.

EX is on the way. Had some shipping issues, but showz is taking care of me.

The EX comes close to the vibe of my G1 figure, despite the brick-with-wings alt mode. I’m considering it.

 

The only thing that stands out to me is the lack of antennae... it would have been cool if they had done something like an alternate head or just put some holes and thrown some antennae in the box like they do with the extra hands.

 

I don’t own any version of the figure, but I wonder if there is no clearance for them in the transformation?

 

If they just stuck 'em on there like the original, probably not. If you go to 9:08 (in case the link doesn't take you to the time), you can see they move around and are kind long.

You can see here at 4:53 they already included a second head, which pops off easily. The head goes into the backpack... so maybe there'd be room if they made em a little small. I'd much prefer a g1 toy/valkyrie head over a jetfire face with red eyes *shrug*

 

If one were brave enough, they could carve out the green part here to turn the black "earmuffs" into static antennae to at least get closer to the look. I am not  , but it could kind of work. Definitely wish we got a new helmet with the awesome VF-1 face too.

 

Finally got around to stickering 'em up and armed to the teeth.... and a few soundwaves just for grins (the rest are packed).

 

they look great. but i am really feeling that jelly arcee. for some reason she just pops.

hey quick question are the new zeta jets white at all or just like an off white grey? it is hard to tell for me.

 

I think it's cuz she has the hot pink crystal clear... some of them are like that and some are a little hazy, for lack of better term. Sometimes it's the roughness or texture of the surface, but I think sometimes it's just that the dye just isn't as transparent.

The zeta jets are kind of satin-y like the NA EXR Jetfire, but without the interference/chameleon effect. There's no sun here at all today, so I'll find one of my daylight bulbs and snap a pic with different color temps.

Damn. I'm super tempted to buy that figure just from this pic. I'm really not a fan of her backpack, though - I own Arcee, Elita, and Paradron medic and I've removed the backpack from all of them (I replaced Arcee's with the Go better pack and left the other two packless). If there were a matching backpack kit for her (like perfectly matching so the clear was the same and it reacted to UV the same), I would definitely go for it.

Looking great! I really want some Headmasters Legend scaled bots too. Hope NA or MS will give them a shot.

 

That would be pretty amazeballs, but probably also impossible. She could be fun to use in alt mode though.
