EEK, you might not have read my whole post! I didn't say MS was the better transformation, but I didn't pop stuff off my first go through and I was able to transform it without instructions in what i would consider a fair amount of time, 20 min would be accurate for a first go through. But to be fair, I should have taken longer and cleaned up flashing as I went. Something NA doesn't struggle with. The lopsidedness, well I still think that is due to flashing I have't cleaned up because it it tight every where but one spot. So your MMV based upon your experience level and cleanliness of your copy. The only time MS Megatron will not be in bot mode is when my Toyworld Devastator is holding him. Other then that, gun mode doesn't display well in the dioramas i set up.

I went NA Datsuns. I really like them. MS felt too big even to MS figures.

 

What's mold flashing?.

 

It's the bleed out from where the plastic is injected... if you ever put together a model, you know you have to file/sand the parts when you take them off the sprue.

 

Happy day Starscream means I have the main IF jets now. I don't know if I'm up for the 1001 colored variants but I have the Coneheads and the seeker trio. And as a bonus ghost Starscream which I find I surprisingly like. I really didn't go out of my way to complete it but it worked out that I got all the parts. I am missing the torso for Sunstorm and kind of wish I had it. Not enough to spend a crazy amount for it but if I chance upon it it would be nice to complete.

Agreed - even though I had seen photos I was surprised how much it pops!

 

Easier? Maybe not but I don't like how NA's gets kind of stuck in gun mode - I have to pry his arm out every time and it always worries me that I'm going to damage him. And then there's the elephant in the room: NA Megatron is missing a huge chunk of his bot mode. He has no back and doesn't look good at all from behind or from even slightly to the side. NA looks much better in gun mode but I don't feel like the sacrifices are worth it.

Finally got my cartoon symbols from reprolabels, waiting on the clean toon outlines for prime. I have like 2 sheets of clear backed and white decep. waterslides that I got from unclebilly that I'm waiting on. I wanna use a waterslide on the damaged chest for Megatron and not have like a crinckled sticker on there.
I did some model customizing with the figure's accessories too. Got a hand drill today to drill a hole in Prime's gun, it drives me crazy when there's no barrel hole when there could be one. Then I touched up some that needed a little bit more attention with paint, like the saw-blade for MS Megatron, the damaged face for him, and the gun that came with NA Prowl.

 

I am not getting the OS KO of Slash, this little lady is too much fun and a perfect size with MFT.

As much as I was impressed with the Insecticon trio, I’m utterly smitten with Jazz. A gorgeous figure, IMO. The rear wheel panel slider on one leg is a little tight, and the front part of the hood is a tricky piece to get started moving, but those are no issue at all.

Tempted to add some color to the guns.

Ironhide and/or Ratchet might be up some time next week, if in stock, before I try to focus on some bad guy jets.

 

Been waitng on my undersized devi for over two months to set up this shelf. Tired of waiting. Hopefully it shows up at some point.
Decepticons:

Going to hang the cone heads when the Devi arrives. Need the shelf space for future figures. I really want some more Decepticons.
