On @DanLyons Transformers blog about Newage figures there is an entry for NA H13 with a picture of Optimus Prime's feet and the face of a Ninja Turtle. As he writes it was an 1 april post it could be a joke but if it isn't I think Optimus Primes Newage name could be one of the Turtles names and the rest could be used for the remolds we all know Newage is going to make; Nemesis Prime, Shattered Glass Optimus Prime, White Optimus Prime aka naked Ultra Magnus or Nova Prime, Blue Optimus Prime for the Diaclone version or Delta Magnus and because Optimus dies alot and people seem to really like translucent figures a Ghost Optimus Prime. Is there a GoBots Optimus Prime?

I actually received g1 cassettes in that, it's like a big acrylic container with a cover. I use the bottom and top side by side to put magnus on.

Got New Age Jazz about a week ago. Great figure but I still wish he'd been larger. I got this one because I loved the design and decided i just didn't care if he scaled with anything else. He'll be a desk bot.

I'm not likely to be upset about that!   My "unofficial catalog" is a product of a mild obsession with the Legendary Heroes line - no inside information, just putting my compulsion to "good" use.

I still feel like including an actual release number was too specific to be just part of the joke. Unjustified optimism? Possibly, but I'm sticking with it!

I know that there are several ebay listings for energon cube like things, but I'm looking for the Hot Soldiers ones in particular, which those are. I searched ebay for 'Hot Soldiers Energon Cube' and didn't get a match.

 

Heh, ok. I remember getting a few as a freebie with one of the figures. Can't remember which one though

 

They came with Hot Soldiers Ironhide, at least for me. That's why I'm looking for them, to go with the ones I already have.
