My car decided it didn't want to start this morning. Right when I was leaving for work. I am glad sometimes that I live near my parents. Luckily it was just the battery which cost me zero. It was still under warranty.

I love resto/build progress pics. Even the small details are awesome. No hurry! It's not like we're going to be going anywhere for some time, metaphorically speaking.

That gen IS-F is amazing. I loved the body sculpt, and the the motor at full roar is incredible.

I am really happy with it. I have a few small things cosmetically to fix but I will send it off to a body shop once I had a little time to enjoy it before it gets too cold. I am happy how easily I can fit the family compared to the other car. My wife is not happy about the garage situation though, so I need to work on that.

Edit: I did have a running mod list before the car got here but now having driven it more I am putting all that on hold. I think I will wait to get bored of 416hp before I consider doing FBO mods. Those are supposed to net 90whp, which is unexpected for a NA. I would like to lower the front a little though, but I need to measure driveway clearance first. I would like to do one autox with it before I decide any changes.

I am so frustrated with my car. The problems are mounting. I would love to buy a new one. But the dealers are empty and the prices are ridiculous.

I was in the same boat. Get what you can fixed , sell it as much as possible and see what you can find. I had to wait 2 months before striking gold through car max.

Got my snows on for the winter. I actually like my winter rims better than I like the stock 19s.
Went with a squared 18x8 setup from the Genesis G70.

They just match the car perfectly. You can still see the Brembo's as well. Only downside is that they are 18s but I wanted to run a thicker sidewall for the winter.

Depending on your choice of tire, the ride is also going to be better going with the 18s.

Went with the Blizzak, my usual choice of snow tire. So far, the ride quality seems about the same but obviously the handling suffers as my stock 19s are staggered being wider in the back. It's not horrible though and plus, I'm not worried about handling in the winter, more about traction. Last night into today it snowed a couple inches, then we had freezing rain on top of it. The snow had a nice sheet of ice on top of it.

I've never not had to deal with snow. Born in Wisconsin lived in Minnesota my entire adult life. The Mrs wants to move to Florida at some point.

I have always had to deal with snow, but I look at it in a different way - snow rally stage!

I have been in Phoenix so long, I don't think i could drive in the snow.

    That is a interesting take.
