I take my words back. Appears Has/Tak WILL follow through.

 

1 - The way FoC Starscream was released in the FoC line, and then only now releasing Skywarp and Thundercracker to go along with him

2 - I'm pretty that means it was a decision to be lazy

3 - I just found that out for myself.

 

1 - I'd say how long it took to release the complete Classics Seekers is a bit more noteworthy. The time delay for the FOC Seekers is hardly a drop in the bucket by comparison.

Especially considering how hard it was to complete the Classic Seekers via the aftermarket without selling a kidney.

2 - Likely it was decided that the profit-to-investment ratio wasn't compelling enough, given the evidence they had at the time, to make four other brand-new molds. The market and subsequent evidence has changed since then, I would assume (hence the huge movie Dinobot cast).

 

Weren't Ransack, Barrage and Venom licensed to takara, ie Takara doesn't own the rights to the figures for re-inclusion to a new line?

 

The original toys? Yes.

But, I'm pretty sure one of the Energon Terrorcons was a blatant homage to one of those Deluxe insecticons, and if we can get updates of Whirl and Roadbuster (toys that also were not fully Takara's to begin with) as voyagers, simple almost-scouts of robots turning into generic insects shouldn't really be that much of a problem.

Of course, Hasbro may just repaint the original Insecticons of the class (since after Bombshell, Kickback is practically guaranteed at this point) as the other Insecticons, maybe retool them if they can to be closer, but that would be better than nothing.

Plus hasbro has the FoC kickback mold that could hopefully be reworked in the future, so you could have scout and deluxe sized insecticons,

 

Kickback is very likely, the rest perhaps but a lot later down the pipeline.

 

well once Kickback gets released maybe TFCC will do them as Deluxe Insecticons and e-Hobby can do the e-Hobby Insecticon Clones...
