Chop Shop makes the most sense as far as a G1 redeco...but would need a bit of retooling as well...

 

Bombshell needs an update, and needs to come with his Action Master partner Needler (just for fun). Then they can do Kickback, not sure who his partner would be though. The e-hobby colors would be alright for the repaints. Is Acid Storm's partner (Waspinator repaint) confirmed as a Venom homage?

Feel free to take this with a grain of salt, but I don't think Hasbro's ever attempted the Classics Insecticons before now because whoever's in charge wasn't confident they'd be able to make them all before the line or size class was cancelled. I think the fact we've finally gotten Shrapnel is a good sign that the other two are in the pipeline.

 

I hope so. Maybe Takara will give us a three-pack with the Insecticon trio, remolded and sporting shiny metallic paint.

 

Needler would be awesome...and the first of the mini target buddies that l'd actually display...didn't think about the e-hobby decoes...but wouldn't that be more a deco e-hobby or TFCC would do...

Fingers crossed...l'd be cool if the completed the FOC Insecticons as well...

 

Didn't the re-issues from a few years back fall under the "Generations" title like Soundwave's did?

 

this current skrapnel fits in perfectly with the TF prime insecticons ...almost same exact size.

 

I want them, but there are other characters Id prefer to get at that scale first. I would like the rest of the smaller guys though. Chopshop is fantastic and I think the rest of those guys could be included with any decepticons easily.

 

Actally Venin's deco has more in Common with Bugly's Pretender shell.

I do hope we see the other two insecticons and some corresponding repaints. Not too maany cons at the "minibot" scale outside of thebugs and cassettes. Also, I think the Triggercons/bots and Firebots/cons could work well at the legends scale

 

Triggermaters and Sparkers would be awesome at this size...l think they should retcon a few Decepticon Minibots from new characters...

 

Since the likelyhood of anymore Titan class figures is unlikely, maybe some more citybot minions at Legends class? Like Brunt, Fulltilt, Cog, Fasttrack, Sixgun and Slammer?

Zaptrap makes the most sense as a G1 repaint. The guy who originally shared Shrapnel's 1985 mold based on the Diaclone color scheme of that mold.

 

Knowing that Hasbro "likely" has two uses per mold at least pre-planned and doesn't "usually" do e-Hobby or Diaclone redecoes as often I still think Chop Shop with his differences make more sense...

 

1 - Which Seekers got screwed up?

2 - That wasn't laziness, that was a conscious decision on their part for whatever reasons that we don't currently know.

3 - They just announced Bombshell and indicated they didn't want to split up 'teams,' which seemed to refer to the Legends-class Seekers and Insecticons.

 

Can't WAIT for Bombshell, I'm so happy they got his name back. Hardshell always sounded too generic to me. Not that "Skrapnel" is any better...

 

They only chose Crosscut because he was originally repainted from Skids. Not for any other reason.
