I'm referring to the Club's magazine comics. Maybe in a trade exclusive to the Club store? Or some kind of archive?
Yes. The balancing act trade was great to read, plus if they could work it out with IDW, maybe I could use comixology to purchase these fictional comics
Didn't they say FP couldn't get their comics on store shelves because that would be compete with IDW?
I'd like a trade paperback of their recent Botcon and Club comics sold at retail. It doesn't matter if the comics are a few years old.
At the very least there seem to be quite a few people on the Tumblr side of the fandom who would like to buy the Shattered Glass stuff.
Don't give them ideas or soon they'll be selling 18 TPB's, each comprising four comics for $180 each with an exclusive remolded legends figure packaged inside for an extra $85. Oh, and you'll have to join the club for an additional $40.
Guys... Vol. 1: Issues 1-6 Vol. 2: Issues 7-12 Vol. 3: Issues 13-18 Vol. 4: Issues 19-24 Vol. 5: Issues 25-30 Several Botcon comics are still in stock, as are individual issues from 12-current. They'll be making a collected volumes for years 10, 11, & 12.
Ha! I was reading the comments like " I'm PRETTY sure this is already a thing" . I was thinking of saying so till I got to your post.
We know those exist, we want fiction specific collections. One has been released: Balancing Act. I personally would like collections with just the fiction but also the Botcon comics collected. I don't like the comic format and much prefer the trade format. Am I making do with the collections featuring the articles? Yeah, but I'd rather just read the comics. As fascinating as Alternators reviews are now, they don't do a lot for me.
I wouldn't mind grabbing a Collected TPB with the first ten years of Club fiction, presented in a seamless story; however I think it's a lot more convenient and (IMO) better with it just collected volumes of the magazines. I like reading the articles and various other pieces of fiction and whatever else got tossed in throughout the years.
Honestly, I'm okay with those printed versions, but what'd really make me happy is if they collected the Botcon comic in the set where it fits too. That's the most glaring omission.
