    Sure why not?

If I don't like it, but then I don't have to spend money it.

Let Hastak throw as much money as possible to my favorite era!

It's not like they are guaranteed to use those resources into something I'd buy anyway.

No. Let the old g1 toon stand on its own as a reminder of that era. I'd rather see something new. Or perhaps a new show that is g1 themed.

Remember when they redid all the visual effects in Star Trek TOS with CGI? Everybody loved it!

    Oh, wait, no they didn’t.

Remember when they redid all the visual effects for the first three seasons of Red Dwarf with CGI? Everybody loved it!

    Oh, wait, no they didn’t.

Remember when they redid all the visual effects for the original Star Wars movies? Everybody loved it!

    Oh, wait, no they didn’t.

    See a pattern here?

What were the complaints with TOS? I’ve seen the remaster & it’s incredibly faithful to the original. I have literally never heard anyone complain about it.

There were instances where the new VFX looked very cartoony (mostly when they first started doing them). Also unnecessary and nonsensical things like making the Gorn blink or changing the design of the ship from the planet of all women who stole Spock's brain because they thought the original looked too much like a giant silver dildo

Wait, what? I guess I need to rewatch the episode.

My answer to doing a frame by frame remake of ANYTHING is "No". Do I think they could do a series based entirely off G1 with modern animation tech that could come out good? Definitely, as long as they don't try to harness the GRIMDERP of the Prime Wars Trilogy animations. We don't need a head to toe reenvisioning of the brand, yet we don't need ET with walkie talkies either.

Honestly, if they want to cgi all the guns to walkie talkies, and that's the only change, I can go for that. :lol

Those deadly laser shooting walkie talkies.

This has to happen. After that, a legit continuation of The Rebirth.

I wouldn't want a CGI remake, or even a modern digital 2D animation remake. But I'd kill to see a version of G1 that was remade with the animation of Call of the Primitives in every episode.

I just want to see Transformers with cutting edge animation again. G1 needs a sequel movie in this vein.

Takei must be livid. Go read up on his reaction to them making Sulu gay in the remake.

Please explain further. Whatever crap you’re making up to support your thoughts are either not relevant, is still better than the new Transformers cartoons we are getting or will be rectified by the remaster.

You could say it’s expensive. I say just as expensive as the cartoons we are getting.

You could say you would rather have new cartoons. I say we are getting new cartoons and they’re terrible.

You could say the animation was terrible and the designs simplistic. I say they would be enhanced so that they are no longer either.

They stole his brain because they thought it looked like...

You know what? Nevermind. I don't think I need to know.

The point is, leave original shit, original.

Remember, Hasbro is not in the business of selling stories, they are on the business of selling toys

The cartoons/comics Etc. etc., are just a means (vehicle) to achieve those toy sales

Do the new cartoons may be expensive, but they have a toyline to sell

A remastered G1 cartoon would not

And even if you suggest they make a new toyline for the g1 remastered episodes, there’s going to be some (1 for certain) characters they won’t be able to do at all......not with out altering some of the stories/dialog

And if they do that, what’s the point of s remaster?
