Been thinking about this a lot. Seeing how OP is under control by someone else or has in some way turned evil and has more or less become the movie Nemesis Prime. Who thinks that Bay might or should edit OP's colors and make him the Black Knight OP in all black with purple flames and truely make him Nemesis Prime?

Nah, Nemesis Prime should at least be a seperate entity.

But a black Optimus should be Scourge, but with an original body that resembles Prime, but isn't just a recolour.

 

^I'd want this. Something where who/whatever is controlling him fails so they make an evil clone with Nemesis colors and name him Scourge or just "Nemesis." I'd really want to see two Optimus Primes fight each other.

 

until now, nemesis had enumerous origins:

evil doopelganger from another dimension, optimus going psycho, human-made clone ...

so tlk could follow the #optimus going psycho line of thinking

 

Maybe the part of Primes programme that's been corrupted by the quints is expelled and gets into a vat of transformium which makes the black/purple Nemesis Prime. Kind of a cross between AoE Galvatron and Venom!

 

It's essentially what Galvatron was meant to be before Megatron hijacked the body.

 

I'd be fine if they keep his red and blue flames, but wouldn't it be cool if he looks the same in the trailers but his colors are changed in the actual movie, for surprise's sake?

 

Even black with red flames would be awesome

 

I say yes, if it fits in the story. I certainly don't want the movie to drop everything and let Optimus go and get a new coat of paint but if it fits in naturally, I'd love it.

 

What if it is galvatron.....just controlled by the creators

 

What if thats not Optimus at all, and there ARE two Optimus'? What if the Quints respond to Optimus' refusal to cooperate by just building themselves another Optimus?

It makes sense to me. They've been hinting at it ever since ROTF.
The Primes in this universe are so susceptible to corruption (The Fallen and Sentinel Prime) have both gone mad, and lead the Decepticons, it's just a matter of time before Optimus tries to take over Megatron as well, and lead the Decepticons.

 

That's what I'm thinking too.
But as far as the whole look for a Nemesis Prime, just the purple eyes are enough for me.

 

I seriously hope that isn't the case. If there's an Optimus clone, that's just gonna dilute Megatron's screen time. Evil Optimus could give Megatron the chance to take the spotlight as a temporary hero, but if it's just a clone, we know that Optimus himself will end up beating it, once again leaving Megatron with nothing to do.

 

Really not like the idea of good character turn evil or bad, better introduce some tough villain like Cyclonus or Overlord. Makes optimus to combine with Hot Rod and Bumblebee to become stronger.

 

What if it's something similar to dotm where megatron is forced to get involved, evil prime must die as it's killing megatrons reputation.

 

It still leaves Megatron with less screen time, as he's neither the main threat or the one who will stop it. He won't be allowed to actually achieve anything in that story, because that would rob Optimus the opportunity to tear apart the one that pretends to be him. Sadly, it has, when I think about it, been confirmed Megatron isn't the main Decepticon of the film, so chances are there is an evil clone that becomes a Decepticon.
