Who here would like more Big-blockbuster live-action Transformers films after TF3? AND IF SO...what do you think would make an awesome Tf4 and so forth? A continuation of Bay's take (story, designs etc)? Or would you prefer (the now popular) Retool and Reboot of the whole live-action franchise?

Ah, I'll note too that it isn't my intent to use this as an opportunity to slag Bay's films (though, anyone who want's to, don't hold back on my account). I'd just love to see what everyone thinks about getting more TFs on the big screen, regardless of the vision they would take.

For my part, I'll say yes: Hasbro should keep making big TF films for as long as people want to keep paying to see them. HOWEVER, I do want to see a different direction taken, the R&R treatment if you will, and by a director who's cut from the same cloth as the rest of us. A fan who eats, sleeps and breathes the stuff.

Thanks in advance for all who'd chime in!

I say make more. Heck bay has quit this series before so this may not be the last one of his TF movies.

To be honest, the only way I want to see another TF movie. Is if it's in the same universe, but using the Maximals and Predacons. Dont care if Bay is in it or not, it's time for a live action Beast Wars movie.

    Yes.

Anything Transformers on the big screen is a good thing. Even if only for what it represents.
You can't deny the positive effect the LAMs have had on the franchise and long may that continue.

    Hell yes.

Bay can do the action scenes alright, but they need someone who is able to keep the plot coherent. You could have driven a truck through the plot-holes in ROTF. Which is a shame, because I think it had the makings of a good film, It just needed someone to tie the plot together better and take out the crap.

What's Sam Raimi up to these days? The bonus to using him is there is a 50% chance there would be a scene of bruce campbell lunging at a decepticon with a chainsaw.

I'd want more movies, but I'd want them to go in some other direction.

After the second movie I just felt like the current movie universe has ran about as far as it can go. They can add new robots they could add new concepts but it's already got this feeling of been there done that. Just feels like a quick cash grab rather than we've got a story we wanted to tell.

Really wouldn't mind some character designs either. You don't have to throw out complex or lots of tiny panels but I'd like things like a Starscream who could smirk. Something a bit less space monsters and something on the cool side, kind of like that mech in District 13 managed to be alien but slick and cool at the same time.

Oh and Decepticons who were great movie villains and less of this just canon fodder to make the good guys look cool.

I definitely think there should be more TF movies after TF3, though not necessarily by Michael Bay. I'm up for a reboot.

Yes if Bay is not involved and I think that this franchise is in serious need of a reboot.

These chewed up TF's need to go away.

He never quit. He just wanted to do another film instead of immediately starting work on TF3, but was convinced otherwise.

I want Transformers: The Movie 2. The sequal is going on being three decades overdue. Vince DiCola score is a must.

Yes... A reboot though, no more Bayformers PLZ. I'm really hoping I can get my script to Hasbro in a couple years... Ahh, a 15 year old can dream...

TF3 has already been confirmed as the last of the trilogy and the next Transformers films have to be reboots. TF3 probably will have lots of autobot and decepticon deaths so a reboot will be needed for future films. Hasbro has no plans to stop making movies and TV shows which help sell toys. A reboot movie will be needed so we can have Jazz back and also the Constructicons and Ravage and Frenzy.

My #1 desire of future TF films is to have the Transformers look like Transformers.

I do hope they continue to make TF movies after Bay and co have left. It has been said that TF3 is the last of the current series/universe so i doubt they could make any more after this one using the same style.
Id like a reboot in a few years time, with a different but equally competant director (i love bay's style) and new character designs and storylines.

Somebody suggested Sam Raimi? Fuck no! Get Niel Blomkamp or (i know there is NO chance in hell of it happening) Chris Nolan.

I'd like to see a relaunch of the series after TF3. We'll have 3 movies in this direction and I'd like to see what different types of directions Transformers can be taken in.

More Transformers and more Bay. Reboots are for fledgling franchises, not successful ones.

The only thing that's been confirmed, to my knowledge, has been that this is the end of this particular story arc. Nothing about that means reboot. The Pirates trilogy is over but the 4th is not a reboot.
