    HELL YES

It's an awesome figure. You won't regret it. However, transforming it is a pain in the ass. But overall, it's well worth it (I got mine on clearance for $30 at Walmart. After having it for a day, I realized I'd have gladly paid full price)

    Easily persuaded, eh?

You won't regret it, but you might want to line the room with pillows before you try to transform it.

Is he really that good? Does the bot mode have any stability issues - as in does he have any difficulty standing?

Yes, nope- as in none whatsoever. I'd compare it to Primus in terms of stability and such (there's a possibility for it, but there isn't).

Why not? It's never going to appraise in value.

I want one, but I won't pay the insane retail value in DK of $100, and importing one from the US would be the same or even worse if/when it gets caught in customs... oh well, may I some day find one at a fleamarket.

Yes! Free them from their prisons of plastic and cardboard!

...unless they have gold plastic in which case you'll wanna keep them in the packaging (since it pretty much holds them together at the same time)...

Yes open it. The only things that I feel should stay sealed are rare old things. I don't think that much made in the last decade is going to have a high value except for limited release items. And the Darth Vader Death Star isn't one of them.
