Ill be heading to denmark/norway and possibly france for most if not all of April.

Are there any TF's i should look for in Europe that arnt easily available here in the states? The Dollar is a piece of crap right now and packing space will be limited coming back so i guess im wondering if there are any european gems out there?

It may be a stupid question since i would think most european TF fans have to have stuff shipped from the states but i figured it couldnt hurt to ask?

I'd look if I saw somewhere that might have something, but I wouldn't make it the focus of the trip... There's at least Overlord, the Rescue Force (4 neutered Liokaiser bots) and the neutered Road Ceasar bots, as well as the actionmasters.

If Nordic TRU's are like their British kin you might find Hasbro reissues stitting there unloved.

TRU's wiki entry has a list of international operations. If it's accurate, the only western european nations without TRU's are Belgium and Italy.

The only place you'll be finding those is on ebay. They did come out about 18 years ago...

To be honest there's bugger all available in europe than what you'll have in the US. Also, the dollar may be weak, but we still pay at least twice what you do for toys. About the only good exclusives we have are the Metrodome Takara sets, and Nightwatch Prime without the neon blue.

Enjoy your holiday, but don't expect much love on the TF front.

neither Norway or Denmark got the TrU Reissues sadly. And I have word that atleast one TrU in Denmark is out of any TF stock mostly and they're not restocking ATM

My Business will keep me in Copenhagen but I knew a chick from college who is in Oslo Norway and another chick from college who lives in northen france. Ill take some long weekends to visit them and a little of Europe.

I was in Berlin about 4 months ago but couldnt find any toy stores (didnt have much time to look though)

I know there was some exclusive Movie figures that only were released in Europe that maybe ill stumble across?

You won't find european exclusives easily, if you find them at all. Europe is not Japan or Singapoure or Korea, when it comes to tfs.

Yeah. There's supposed to be a black Tracks that only came out in Finland, I've lived here all my life and I've never seen one...

I did, however, see a loose Browning on a flea market once, many many years ago. Being the kid I was and not knowing a thing about these things, I shrugged it off as an incomplete Megatron. :banghead:
