I watched the The First Episode Mini movie Thing and Really wasnt very Fond of it..

Should i keep Watching More...
Does it get better in your Opinions??

Keep trying, Watch the first 10 episodes, If you hate it, skip it, If you start warming up to it, watch the rest of the season.

 

Deffinately give another chance. The mini-movie is no indication of the series as a whole, as Ep 4 has clearly demonstrated. (with it's awesomeness )

 

No harm in giving it a few more episodes to make a final judgement, thats what I'm doing. If at that point you still don't like it, at least you can say you tried!

Seriously, check out the episodes list and see if that bodes well for you. Then try to watch the first ten episodes. If it still doesn't work for you, well at least you tried.

 

Yes give it another try. As most of the people that pay attention to my posts here know, Im wasnt thrilled or am thrilled about the new show, but after seeing the mini movie twice, I have decided to give it a chance until the season ends. Im still not fond of the animation but the dialogue was pretty funny and way better than Armada's.

 

Skipping commercials, it's about what, 22 minutes? Even if you don't think it's great, you can spare 22 minutes out of a week during which you probably have nothing better to do  

Besides, after episode 4, tf animated has the best megatron ever. No other megatron ever attempted to go on a remote control autobot murdering spree right after waking up. In fact, I don't think any other megatron ever actually tried that hard to kill autobots. He wasn't aiming to wound, or capture them, it wasn't some huge grand scheme that the autobots got in the way of, just a rampage.

 

Give it a little longer. Is it because of the art style or story? I can relate if it is because of the art style but I can get over the stuff (barely *shudder*) but if it is because of the story wait and see how they develop it.

If they release a Dvd set of the first Season i may have to pick it up to give it a fair chance..

I stink at catching shows while they are airing...

 

i figured out how to program my vcr, so i could watch all the eps. i actually really like this show, but if the animation style isn't up your alley it can be really hard to get past. plus, i totally can't wait to own it on dvd!

Sure, you might as well see a few more eps before making a final judgement on the show. Animated is the newest thing in TFs now, so it can't hurt to have checked it out proper as a fan! You'll have something to discuss with the rest of us then.

 

Some shows take a few episodes to "warm up to", to get used to the plot, the world, or the characters. I've run into several series that didn't do a hell of a lot for me in one or two episodes, but after watching a few in a row, they grew on me and I wanted to see more. Beast Wars is a good example for me, especially if the only ep you see is a first-season one.

 

i dont think you should be compelled to watch something based on principle.

if you dont like it just switch to something else. time as it is already too precious to spend in front of the tube, much less in front of it waiting for you to start to like it.
