Please feel free to use any picture you like. I'll be happy if they can be of use :)

It's so exciting that lots of Scourge/Black Convoy figures are in transit right now :lol  Congrats, everyone!

    :lol

I blame this thread for the resulting price increases that are bound to happen.

If I didn't know better, I would think this thread was started for the sole purpose to increase the demand of RID Scourge/ Car Robots Black Convoy! However, I think Nerdling was asking a honest question. That combined with great mold and paint scheme results in the popularity of this thread and subsequent increase in demand! I wrongly assume everyone already knew how great scourge is. I did.....

You're welcome. This thread has totally snowballed. I've seen about 3 RID Scourge reviews go up on YouTube (before there werent any) and countless more Scourges added to ebay in the few days the thread's been open. He's the only non-G1 Decepticon I have.

lol, I just got mine on Friday, and agreed with all of you, he is beautiful. I absolutely love the simple transformation; really takes me back to the days when it didn't take 42 steps to transform a robot into a truck.

Looks so badass too, and the articulation is pretty great. I now have a foil for my Classics Prime.

Ahh... warms my heart, it does.

I'm just amazed by this thread... because the awesomeness of the Scourge/Black Convoy seems to be just about the only think that the TF fandom can all agree on! :)

How was Takara's QC around the time of Car Robots? The last thing I want to do is get my Black Convoy, open it up, and find it missing parts or something.

Too true, SMOG. I don't think I've heard any negativity about Scourge/Black Convoy yet.

So good to see so many people discovering such a damn fine toy. Congrats to everyone who has picked one up! :)
Apart from some dodgy paint drips on Super Speedbreaker I never had a single problem with any of the CR figures I bought, and I bought most of them.

Looks like I don't have anything to worry about (aside from the possibility of rusty screws, typical on these kinds of figures because of that strike)
    :lol
Hear that, hoots? We lucked out. Big time. (Scourge usually goes for ~$60, but that's not the point)

You don't really love Transformers unless you have your very own RID Scourge (who would have been more appropriately named as either Motormaster or even better, Nemesis Prime).

Though tbh, I don't have RID Scourge, I have Car Robots Black Convoy and he is such an excellent mold. Too bad the Generation 2 paint scheme for Prime and the E-hobby Magnus suck.

I got Black Convoy (RID Scourge, japanese version) and you can't go wrong with him. And your more likely to attain him than some of the other incarnations of him.

Ridiculously intimidating. I wish I'd got his eyes in the picture too, but I was strapped for time.

I was looking to buy this figure in 2006, but always postponed it by getting figures for characters from G1 that I didn't have. But today I bought a G2 Laser Op bootleg, and I see why people absolutely adore this mold.

I'll be getting Scourge/Black Convoy first chance I get. I hope liqdeal will have a steady supply in the near future.

Just got mine in today, So pleased, Just really surprised how old the mold and how much poseability you can get out of this guy. Well worth the $35 I payed for him. I got Black Convoy, and I too had the tape on the back where the Batteries are supposed to go. He also fits in really well with my Classics. Really awesome figure, GO BUY IT NOW!!
