There are two differences between the Energon and its Superlink counterpart. The first has already been noted in this thread; his wing symbols are painted on both sides (which is to the benefit of the robot mode). The other difference is the shade of clear plastic used. Skyblast's is very dark, in a royal red sort of way; Airglide's is a significantly lighter red (think red cellophane against a light). This is one of the better basics released. The automatic transformation is fun in and of itself, and the versatility of the weapons make it a very enjoyable Omnicon. Get him -- he's a keeper.
i still want to buy like 12 of those guys and have a huge armada, of energon skyblasts. so yea, that tells you how good it is. i hope. it is one of the few energon toys i own, too.
skyblast is pretty cool. I just picked up an airglide, still waiting for it to come. The energon figure I love is Divebombs, I have 8 of him, plus 1 shadowhaw, for now...
Yeah, there's that, but I've never liked the idea of using a marker on a TF. Maybe if it was one of those paint markers, designed with that sort of customization in mind. In any case, I didn't care enough to entertain either idea of customizing or importing.
Ok a little off-topic.... Since I´ve seen some Skyblast oversized knock-offs , Is there any Divebomb knockoff of the same kind?
Get him. I would just for the energon weapon alone, which now currently resides on my Dark Scoponoks minicon tail peg. This figure has High playability.
